Great first time car buying experience My mom and I have been shopping around various car dealerships for the last three months and during that time, we have came across multiple car salesm My mom and I have been shopping around various car dealerships for the last three months and during that time, we have came across multiple car salesmen and managers, some were good, most gave off bad vibes. My mother has purchased 3 vehicles already and she's quick to spot salesmen who were all about their commission, heck one Fox Ford dealer, Wade Sims, even bragged to us about some commission he has made off of sales in the past. Of course, that didn't fly well with my mom. Long story short, I found Nestor after reading his reviews and Phillips Chevy reviews, from the jump, Nestor was there for us helping us find the right financing and the right vehicle for me. Not once did Nestor come off as aggressive or attempt to put me in a different vehicle like some other dealers tried doing. Granite, I did a little bit of homework before heading into the dealership but Nestor made the buying process extremely smooth. Today is the day after I purchased my car and my mom and I can't stop singing his praises because simply put, Nestor and the people at Phillips Chevy in Lansing, were great. Honest - On top of doing everything else right I needed a new car and searched online to get an idea of pricing. Phillips Chevrolet of Lansing had the car I was looking for with the lowest price. I needed a new car and searched online to get an idea of pricing. Phillips Chevrolet of Lansing had the car I was looking for with the lowest price. I called at 7PM to verify I "qualified" for the price. Tyler told me it was an everyone price and I was sent a statement showing me all expenses (taxes, plate, etc). I was surprised how straight forward this dealer was. Most of the time I get the run around and delays. I arranged to purchase the car that night and they had it ready for me by noon the following day. I drove 3.5 hours to pick it up. I had to get back on the road quickly to make a meeting and Nestor made sure the team got all my paper work in order and got me out the door. Nestor topped my car off with gas like a boss, shook my hand and I was gone. The whole team was professional. One of the best car buying experiences I have ever had. More
