Improve communication I took my vehicle to have it serviced. They failed to contact me when the service was complete. When I called to check on my vehicle I was placed on h I took my vehicle to have it serviced. They failed to contact me when the service was complete. When I called to check on my vehicle I was placed on hold for 10 minutes. After which, they simply picked up the phone and hung up. More
Initially miss-diagnosed my problem and indicated my vehicle had been test driven & problem verified resolved. When driving home it was clear there was no change in problem. Returned to dealership and t vehicle had been test driven & problem verified resolved. When driving home it was clear there was no change in problem. More interested in customer satisfaction than cust's money Went to dealership with a problem in my Colorado's radio, would not read from usb port, I could not listen to my country music. When the technician t Went to dealership with a problem in my Colorado's radio, would not read from usb port, I could not listen to my country music. When the technician tested the radio he found everything was working properly and than checked the usb memory stick I was using and found it to be replaced. The amazing thing was that they did this checking of the system and only required a THANK YOU and I gave them more than one ! Again, THANK YOU ! More
High labor charges & misleading practices Recently bought a preowned Buick from out of town dealer. Car was still covered by powertrain warranty. Car threw a code - we pulled the code oursel Recently bought a preowned Buick from out of town dealer. Car was still covered by powertrain warranty. Car threw a code - we pulled the code ourselves and before ordering the part and just fixing it ourselves (simple fix - less than an hour and a $60 part) we called Phil Wright service center just to see if it would be covered under the powertrain warranty. They said they could not tell us that unless we brought the car in - never told us their would be a charge for just looking. Shame on us - we should have smelled a rat then. After they pulled the code, they call to say we had two options - they could fix the problem for $250ish or we could come and get it and pay $100 for the "diagnostics check". They were holding our car "hostage" for a hundred bucks! We opted to have them fix it, which they did. Long story short - we ended up paying them $300 to do and easy replacement of a $60 part that we could have easily done ourselves. I have heard others complain about PW service center's practices and dismissed them as overblown - now I believe! Gave them 2 stars because they did fix the problem - so at least they seem to have competent technicians in the shop. More
