This in fact is not the price, the price is $10k higher before the normal things you expect such as tax and registration. And when you click the button for details, nope it is not listed there either. Pretty deceptive communication. Be sure to call and ask for all that's missing from their "offers" before you go to the dealer for an unpleasant surprise. Why not just be transparent? They seem to have a unique definition of price. To most its the price of the car they are willing to accept and then of course tax, registration and processing. At this dealership price excludes added dealer markup....I'm pretty sure that fails the "reasonable person" test. Update: Just talked with the GM and Internet manager. You can't rely on the written offer (pic attached) or even the "click here for detailed pricing" to know the actual price of the car. You have to take a third step to initiate the purchase and provide them personal information before they will tell you the actual price of the car. They did say it's more transparent when you come to the dealer and see the stickers on the car. If you are shopping for a car via the website....be very careful to get all the details. I'd like to say "get them in writing" but as you can see by the picture that can't be relied on. I am sure they will post a reply that says hot cars get dealer mark ups. I get that....just don't make offers or provide "pricing details" that don't provide the actual price. This site does not allow me to submit a pic of the written offer. That is posted on the two other review sites (G and Y) and clearly shows an offer was made but the actual price of the car was not in the offer or the "detailed" pricing on the website. More

Defective valve covers. The valve covers had to be replaced at a cost of $ 1,342.98. The car is only 8 years old with very low mileage 74000 and I shouldn't be replacing defective valve covers on a vehicle that was purchased brand new from Phil Smith Acura that is well maintained with low miles on it. Yes, the warranty has expired but I reached out to Phil Smith Acura by taking the defective valve covers in to have them inspected and one of their service consultants told me that this is very common for these valve covers to do this and that they see it at their dealership quite often. I emailed the receipt and photos to the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, General Manager and Operating Partner and they basically told me that it is a manufacturer issue and not the dealership. I don't understand how a dealership can tell a loyal customer that there nothing that they can do for them especially when they were the one that sold the vehicle to the customer. Myself and my family will purchase more vehicles in the near future but it will not be from the Phil Smith Automotive Group which operates multiple auto dealerships with this Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. I say this because all decisions start and end with this person. UPDATE: 3-14-23 Phil Smith Acura claimed that they did the best they could advocating for me with the manufacturer but were denied approval. I tried reaching out to them via email on two occasions asking if they could please forward me all correspondences that were made on my behalf to the manufacturer but they did not get back with me. That indicates to me that they put little to no effort into helping me. Thankfully, due to my diligence dealing with the manufacturer myself since February 17th, I was reimbursed full amount from American Honda. More

DON’T RECOMMEND based upon my personal experience . I purchased a vehicle from this dealership 10/2022. I flew in to purchase this vehicle that was still under the 4 year manufacturer warranty and the I purchased a vehicle from this dealership 10/2022. I flew in to purchase this vehicle that was still under the 4 year manufacturer warranty and the certified warranty they gave me. Drove it home about 400 miles away and within 7 days I would hear a horrible squeal every time I would attempt to break, attempt to stop, pulling out the driveway and breaking, etc. I immediately called and spoke to both the General manager Phil and the service manager Warren. They both told me to take it into my local dealership to get it looked at and to call them with what they said. My local dealership told me that the BREAKS And ROTORS were both not good and they had to be replaced. They informed me that a car that was presented to be CERTIFIED through ACURA should not have those issues within the first week let alone the first 30 days of purchase. I immediately called back to speak with Phil and tell him and the service manager Warren of the $800 bill I was just presented. They BOTH told me that it was nothing they could do about it and that they were not paying for any bill and it was no longer their issue. Warren then goes to tell me they certified the vehicle at the rotor and break thickness it was when the person returned this leased vehicle back in. He told me they didn't replace anything with the breaks and rotors. The salesperson told me everything was done before certifying it including the breaks and rotors during the days of us communicating before I actually traveled to Phil Smith Acura in Florida. During my call with Phil the general manager telling me that they were not paying ,we some how got disconnected .I call RIGHT back and now all of a sudden Phil is in a meeting. I left a voicemail and called back daily for about a week. I YET to get back in contact with him. I’m FURIOUS all this money I put down and paid for this vehicle and this to happens! They never paid for the service and didn't care that I was over 400 miles away with issues on a basically brand-new car they had just sold me 7 days prior. My local Acura couldn’t believe they were treating me like this and a manager there insured me he would help settle this issue with Acura because there was NO WAY THAT CAR SHOULD HAVE BEEN CERTIFIED IN THAT CONDITION! I would have definitely stayed local and purchased a car for all the troubles and the horrible service and ignoring I received after. I have reported them to Acura relations and Acura customer service. Be cautious !! More

I have been a loyal Acura customer for over a decade now. The brand continues to grow and I am loving my new car. The only thing better than the car itself is how Phil Smith Acura and the GM Philip Franchina have treated me over the years. Simply put they have treated me like family. They have always been willing to discuss any and all options available to me in order to get me into the cars I've wanted. I have never left without accomplishing exactly what I intended to. I have shown up at 5pm on a Wednesday, 11am on a Saturday, you name the time it doesn't matter they have always been there with a smile and a deal. This has been my 4th transaction with Phil Smith and Philip and each and every time they seamlessly walked me through the process and got me into a perfect vehicle that very day. Just yesterday Philip along with Sam Power (Finance Manager) and Domenick Santamaria (Sales) put me into a beautiful 2022 TX A-Spec. I could not be any happier with how everything played out. If you are a first time buyer/leaser they will walk you through everything. If you own or even currently lease a car, chances are there is equity! If so, run to Phil Smith tell them Michael Pawell sent you and they will do great by you and your family. More
