My daughter was in Colorado Springs and was involved in a collision. She had towing through Hyundai and the vehicle was towed to the nearest Hyundai dealership, which was Phil Long. This was on 8/12. Our insurance adjuster wrote up the estimate and the dealership had the check within a few days. The repairs were supposed to take 2 weeks. On the day we were scheduled to pick up the car, we were told they found additional damage and it was going to take another week. Today (9/13) we were again told that the car is still not ready. Now it is supposed to be ready sometime early NEXT week. We do not have insurance for rental, and now have a bill for car rental for over a month and still no car. We have finally resorted to calling the main office of Hyundai and they are supposedly going to help us out in contacting the dealership. Both the dealership and our insurance adjuster estimated that the repairs should take no more than 2 weeks. I have no idea about the quality of their work since we don't have the car back yet. All I know is that we have been getting the run around. Our adjuster told us that normally they would have had the car towed to one of their "preferred" repair centers, but that since this dealership had both a service department and body shop, they agreed to the dealership doing the repairs. The dealership assured us that they had all of the parts in stock before they started the job. So why have they had the car for FIVE WEEKS and the repairs are still not complete. More
I just wanted to let you know what a great experince I had from the time I walked into service to the time I left with a new car! I was there to have a vehicle repaired, which I was in a bit of a bind wi had from the time I walked into service to the time I left with a new car! I was there to have a vehicle repaired, which I was in a bit of a bind with. JJ took me upstairs to sales, where I was paired up with Jerry. Jerry was amazing! He was williing to help whether with a new car or just getting me out of this bind with my old car. I appreciate the time and effort he put into getting us approved. It definitely wasnt easy. I was speechless and overwhelmed with joy. This has been such a wonderful experieince. I am in the business of customer service, and by far this is the best customer service I have ever received. The sales personnel lied to my husband and myself on numerous occasions. Markus Cardo was suppose to get a car in for a test drive and failed miserably. First, I am a real buyer. I recently bought a 2013 Hyundai Elantra GLS. I was looking for a cheap new car. My wife has the nice family car ( I have the car payment to prove it), but i needed somethi Hyundai Elantra GLS. I was looking for a cheap new car. My wife has the nice family car ( I have the car payment to prove it), but i needed something dependable and extremely fuel efficient (and gentler on my wallet). My sales woman, Marie Roberge, was truly top notch. I wanted to minimize my monthly car payment. I realized that the price range i was wanting was the Accent range (PS-I did test drive the Nissan Versa, but was less than impressed with my sales dude's ability to find me something in my price range). Unfortunately for me, all the modest Accents were spoken for. (NOTE: If Hyundai reads this, you guys need to start focusing on Middle American purchases versus everything being a Limited Deluxe with all the cheese). Rather than being disheartened, Marie worked her tail off to find me an ELANTRA! I am 6 foot 2, and will be doing lots of driving, enough said. I felt like i could still expand my chest in the Elantra, although the Accent is still an awesome feeling car. The price per month ended up being identical, thanks to the Elantra's superior safety (lower insurance than the Accent). Also, the MPGs for highway are better than on the Accent. Not only did I feel like Marie (and the GM, John) gave me the time of day, and the decency to take time to make a decision, she MAPPED out all my options. She took the time, a rarity in these days, to show me the bottom line numbers for the most affordable Accents and Elantras in the area. She showed me the math on buying versus leasing, showing me how a down payment would impact my monthly payment...on paper, side-by-side. If there was a standard out there for being a sales team, John (GM) and Marie (sales) would be the platinum standard. More
After reading the review about Marie Hardaman, frankly I find it a little hard to believe. This was our second buying experience with Marie in the last 4 years and on both occasions, we found her to be not find it a little hard to believe. This past Saturday, we bought our new Santa Fe and were extremely satisfied with the entire sales process. In my opinion, Marie is the hardest working car salesperson in the city and we will highly recommend her to all of our friends and co-workers. Thanks again Marie! More
