The Hyundai dealership was the 4th dealer I had visited when looking for a new car. The first 3 places made me want stop looking. It was my first time buying a car and it was a task to get me where I needed to be due to some poor credit problems from my past. Steve rocked it and worked his magic to make it happen!! I went to trade in my 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe and was leery of the whole dealership experience. When I got to Phil Long Hyundai in Colorado Springs, I was excited from the get go. First the whole showroom was of the whole dealership experience. When I got to Phil Long Hyundai in Colorado Springs, I was excited from the get go. First the whole showroom was clean and well kept. I was greeted by Richard Ryan who politely asked what he could do for me and my wife. We test drove 6 vehicles with Richard in tow. Not only was he able to tell me what each vehicle had to offer but he was able to articulate it to a person who does not know cars. Richard took every question I had and got me an answer pronto. He was not pushy at all but instead let me lead the deal. He helped me find the Santa Fe of my dreams but to help me further see the potential lent it to me for a weekend trip to Breckenridge. What Service! A brand new vehicle fully loaded for a weekend trip. Needless to say we wanted a new one pronto. Richard took careful time selecting and modifying our dream vehicle. When one arrived that was not what we liked, he personally drove 30 mins away to bring back another selection. He assisted my wife and I in every part of the process. He would come in on days off just to meet with us and give us guidance. He was helpful in the pricing stage as we worked to get the car at the absolute best deal. I cannot say enough about Richard Ryan or Phil Long Hyundai of Motor City. Get down there, talk to Richard, and get your dreams rolling on four wheels. More

In Jan. 2012, after an unsatisfactory experience with a local Honda dealership, we decided to look at Hyundai. We went to Phil Long Motor City, and were helped by Marie Hardaman (who is no longer there), local Honda dealership, we decided to look at Hyundai. We went to Phil Long Motor City, and were helped by Marie Hardaman (who is no longer there), and because of her good assistance, as well as the entire Motor City staff, we purchased a 2012 Santa Fe--our first SUV--and I loved it! On Jan. 2014, my husband took the car in for our final FREE oil change and tire rotation. While waiting he went into the showroom to look at the new vehicles. At that time he was helped by salesperson Jerry Seward, who was very helpful and accommodating, showing and explaining all the features of the new Santa Fe. When he came home he said I might want to go look at the new models, so even though I was very satisfied with our 2012, the next day we went back 'just to look;! Jerry Seward wasn't in then, so we were helped by salesperson Richard Ryan. Richard turned out to be very friendly, easy going, and eager to assist us with any and all questions we had., and took us on 2 test drives, giving us the information and guidance we needed. So we decided to buy the new vehicle. We then talked with the manager...Scott Hustead...who is one of the most Friendly, pleasant and 'up front' managerial types we've ever worked with over the years. Without all of the 'dreaded' back and forth hassling that you usually associate with 'car deals', Scott presented us with an offer in a short time. My husband made a 'co-offer', which Scott worked out to our satisfaction...and he also made sure we got all of the 'dealer' specials' that were available to us. We then dealt with the financing with Reuben Torres (who did our 2012 purchase) and his new associate, and that went very smoothly. Overall our experience with the Motor City Hyundai personnel was excellent---stress-free and even fun! So now I am Loving my new Santa Fe, and if the occasion arises in the future for a trade, I know where we'll go. More
my experience with Richard was amazingly relaxed and informative. He took the time to find out what I was looking for and even anticipated things I hadn't thought of like my love of the outdoors and ne informative. He really knew his stock and the cars themselves, so he didn't waste my time. I looked at both new and used. He made sure the test drives gave me time to feel the cars I drove and to make the best decision for my needs, not his personal preferences. He was clearly more interested in what I thought and needed than telling me what to do. I could have easily gone back to Toyota because they are closer and I liked the Camry, but they didn't really seem to care about me and the Elantra had more to offer in responsiveness, gas mileage comfort, price and warranty, After working with Richard I felt the Hyundai Elantra was the best choice and value and that the respectful relationship Richard created made it worth my traveling to Motor City. I would highly recommend calling Richard and that you consider buying a Hyundai, or a used car with him. More
My wife wanted to replace her 2011 Tucson with a new 2014 Tucson. I got on line and found the one that she wanted. I then Called Zack at the Motor City location and told him what I was looking at. I also tol Tucson. I got on line and found the one that she wanted. I then Called Zack at the Motor City location and told him what I was looking at. I also told Zack that I did not want the "dealership runaround". I wanted to get in and out without spending all day at the dealership. I made an appointment at 5:pm that day. The Tucson that I wanted was at a different location but Zack hat it transferred over to his location for me. It was sitting outside the office when my wife and I arrived. I am happy to say that Zack made the process as painless as possible. I did have to work on the price a little but it didn't take long. My wife drove her new Hyundai Tucson home that night. This was the second vehicle that we have purchased from Phil long Hyundai and I'm sure it won't be the last. I recommend asking for Zack Smith. What a great experience! We were greeted warmly by our salesman Dennis who listened to our needs and was very helpful by answering all our questions, he was very knowledgeable and let us take the lead. He was informative, friendly, patient and treated us like family. Dennis took the time to listen to us and put us into the car that fit us perfectly. Jason the sales manager put together an incredible deal that made sense and met our wants and needs. Reuben the finance manager fought with the banks to get us the payment we could afford and was very entertaining. I have never had a dealership work so hard to get us into our car. We drove away feeling like we had hit the jackpot! After our experience with Hyundai we realized how much we had been taken advantage of in our last car purchase at a Honda dealership. We are now loyal customers of Phil Long Hyundai in Motor City and will be recommending them to our friends. More
