Overcoming the odds Tyler excelled despite everything appearing to work against him. From the battery on the vehicle being dead when we first attempted a test drive, to Tyler excelled despite everything appearing to work against him. From the battery on the vehicle being dead when we first attempted a test drive, to the other Hyundai dealership making an agreement to trade Ioniqs for test-drive, then delaying after we drove across town to see a model with all options desired; many small events occurred with potential to dampen the car buying experience. Never the less, Tyler maintained his composure and sense of humor while navigating through what could have been a very frustrating experience. More

He was in firm command of our test drive without being a "salesman". The vehicle we came to buy had been sold the night before, once a price was agreed on, a vehicle was procured for us from another dealer (through a dealer swap 75 miles away I presume). They went above and beyond to get the right model, in the right trim and the right color. In my short time there I met 6 employees and was impressed with all of them. I do not normally write reviews (especially for car dealers) but I was so impressed I wanted to give all the personnel at Phil Long Chapel Hill Hyundai a shout out including Chris that drove to Denver in a rain storm to fetch my vehicle. More

The whole experience left a bad taste We walked away for good. The price of the car, and our trade in, constantly changed. We were guilted for taking so much of their time. Then, they tried the "can't guarantee this price past today" pressure, but lowered it a week later. Then they quoted one price on the trade in because they "liked the car", but lowered it the next week. They were unwilling to meet Denver prices, even with clear and comparable research...until we walked away. I liked the car a lot. The last offer was probably fair, but in the end, I couldn't reconcile the excitement of a new car with the tactics. More
