I was sold a 2019 expedition by the salesman Hector A and sales manager Mike H. After driving the vehicle home in the first week I took it on a road trip to California. Upon my drive the vehicle started to have a issue with the 4x4. I was now where near a Ford dealer while on the trip and made my first emergency stop at a Ford dealer in California. The found out that a vacuum hose was not engaged and cause the vehicle to slip into 4x4 mode while in drive cause a serious problem and noise. I had to fork out $220 to fix the issue, I was also promised and on multiple discussions with Hector over the issue. He assured me that I'll get a reimbursement for my problems with the expedition as long as I kept my receipt. I did!. It's been 3 months now and my number is blocked from hector the sales man. And I still have not received a check in the mail as promised. Supposedly there was a first attempt that a check was mailed out, but never received nor was I given a tracking number to help locate this check of reimbursement. I'll continue to make all attempts to get the money I had to pay to get a repair done after owning the car for a week and a serious problem that came with it. More
So the next time my phone rings, I find myself speaking to a very nice but clearly clueless "truck specialist" who can't tell me the towing capacity, torque or horse power of the F450. I know all of this a to a very nice but clearly clueless "truck specialist" who can't tell me the towing capacity, torque or horse power of the F450. I know all of this already, but I was trying to assess who I was dealing with. My assessment: Irving is a nice kid clearly in over his head. He tried to convince me to test drive their King Ranch F350. I told him no, I already had a Ram 3500 and I needed more power. I also tell him I'm in Castle Rock and will be making a special trip for this. Monday morning rolls around and I text Irving to ask if we can push the appointment back an hour. He said sure. I acknowledged his text with a thumbs up. Fast forward several hours and I'm leaving work early to go test drive this truck an hour away from my business. Fifteen minutes before our appointment when I am already down in the Springs, I see a text from this kid saying "Hey Kerry, got word that the f-450 you were inquiring about is not able to make it onto our lot for you to test drive and see. However if you'd like to still see what a comparable one would look like I have a new king ranch and platinum f-350 on my lot. Let me know if that would work." ARE YOU xxxxxx KIDDING ME?!?!?!? I take a deep breath and text back: "So I just drove down from Castle Rock. Not at all happy about this. Why is it not available? A call would have been appreciated so that I didn't waste the trip." He writes back: "I completely understand and I apologize. I assumed you saw my text earlier I sent (note: that would've showed up on his phone) , that is on me. The f-450 you inquired about is currently in possession of our north store. Sorry again for not calling" My response: "Where is the north store and can I see it there? Your text showed up five minutes ago." (note: I didn't see or acknowledge the text. I WAS DRIVING FOR AN HOUR TO COME DOWN FROM CASTLE ROCK. FOR AN APPOINTMENT I CONFIRMED THAT I LEFT WORK EARLY FOR.) Irving: "That would be Phil Long Ford of Denver and yes." At this point I want to throw the phone. EVERYONE KNOWS I LIVE IN CASTLE ROCK. Me: "That would've been closer for me in the first place. What is your name again?" Him: "My name is Irving." And then crickets. No more outreach, no word from a higher up on how do we salvage this, not another word of any kind. This really surprises me. If I had an employee who botched a deal this badly, I'd be on the phone trying to make it right. At this point, I call my BFF to vent and ask if I should call Phil Long Motor City and raise holy xxxx or call the north store and raise holy xxxx. Here I am ready to drop close to six figures on a truck, and this kid has wasted three hours of my day. I decided to wait and see if anyone ever followed up. No one has. I am astounded that such a large business is failing so miserably on the customer service side of things. Not only am I taking my business elsewhere, I'm putting this review up where ever I can find the space and telling all my friends, most of whom also have giant horse trailers that need big, expensive trucks to pull them. This dealership can suck it. More

Don't not do business with Phil Ford Motor City. As soon as I signed the paper work on my lease everything started to go south. First thing that happened was the clear protectant cover they put on As soon as I signed the paper work on my lease everything started to go south. First thing that happened was the clear protectant cover they put on was installed incorrectly and air bubbles formed. When I contacted the dealership they said they were the only ones that could fix it and I would have to bring it in. I live two hours away! After a few attempts trying to convince me to drive it down they finally capitulated and arranged for the car to be picked up and driven down and fixed. The person that picked up the car grabbed the wrong set of keys which delayed getting my car back. The second thing that happened was the sales associate ( who is not surprisingly no longer there) told me multiple times that the registration would be handled by them but might take a while since they were backed up. When My temporary plates were about to expire I contacted them for an update as to where my plates were. I was connected with a woman who works in that department. When I was speaking to her she could not have been ruder or less condescending id she tried. Contrary to what the sales person said multiple times she said they don't do registrations and I would have to do it myself. When I tried to contact the sales manager on multiple occasions leaving a voice mail he never returned my call. I regret leaving a positive review for them through the ford feedback surveys but I was pressued into doing so because "it will effect our jobs if you dont". I would never buy another car from this dealership and I would reccomend anyone to do the same. Choose any other ford dealership because there is no way it can be worse than this one. More
Phil Long Chapel Hills - The sales staff are dishonest and the sales mangers promote dishonest tactics. I did give them an opportunity to try to correct my experience. If one Phil Long dealer does it, the and the sales mangers promote dishonest tactics. I did give them an opportunity to try to correct my experience. If one Phil Long dealer does it, then they all do it in my opinion. Bu-bye Phil Long dealers. I won't consider purchasing from any of them and will advise others to avoid them as well. More
I'm not sure how the management trains their employees, but it is lacking. Talked to Steven in Service. Was inquiring about a warranty issue and wanted vehicle inspected. Was told it is not covered under w but it is lacking. Talked to Steven in Service. Was inquiring about a warranty issue and wanted vehicle inspected. Was told it is not covered under warranty and will have to go through insurance and all Ford dealerships will tell you the same. It is an item covered under the new Ford vehicle warranty. Confirmed with another Ford dealership who was happy to have the vehicle in and checked out. I hate writing this, but this isn't the first time an employee has been incompetent, rude, or unhelpful. We are a Ford family and love the vehicles. But definitely won't be returning or recommending the dealership. I just wanted to point out the lack of training in employees, and possibly the hiring process overall. More
Dealer called me out of the blue. Asked me what I'm interested in buying. Salesman comes back with a truck. So I give him my trade info, proof-of-concept other dealers offers. He keep Asked me what I'm interested in buying. Salesman comes back with a truck. So I give him my trade info, proof-of-concept other dealers offers. He keep reassuring me theyvwill match these offers. Also said thry deliver. Their ads say buy online or over the phone, they deliver. After filling out a credit app. Being approved by gord for 1.9% I'm then asked to drive 200 miles to have my vehicles appraised?? Other dealers have delivered to me without an appraiser. Guess the ads not really true. The salesman back peddled on delivery. And I walked away from buying their truck. Beware of fast talking salesmen with swagger. Lol. They want you to come in and be hostage while they lowball your trades. I have better things to dobeith my time than to have someone belittle my vehicles while trying to sell me a truck marked new with 1100 miles on it. More

They took 1000 dollars last night, told me I had a car just had to come back the next morning to finish the paperwork. Not just that but that they would give me a ride in the morning. I live 30 min away i just had to come back the next morning to finish the paperwork. Not just that but that they would give me a ride in the morning. I live 30 min away in Penrose, that's a $65 Uber ride. The next day I was told they would pick me up when the financial team got an approval... so i guess that means the car isnt mine.. cool. It's now 230pm. It's not morning anymore and if their finance team who is probably working the people who are in their buildings cars and deals.. if they never get a deal for me they will have taken my thousand bucks and left me home unable to further my search myself. Also taking away the down-payment for who knows how long. Actually telling me "this is how the process goes" .. really? Well its not super helpful to me finding a car. My whole day is wasted and I was told it's because they had a meeting until 10 am.. it almost 3pm. No callbacks, no emails since 930 am, no thousand dollars, or car. Nothing. I'm at home waiting for their finance department. What a waste of a day off without a car. Heartbreaking. More
It took the service team over two weeks to get parts that we had already tracked down and told them where to find. They charge almost twice what the auto parts store was asking for... even though they purcha we had already tracked down and told them where to find. They charge almost twice what the auto parts store was asking for... even though they purchased them from that store. We were quoted no more than $2100, but then charged $800 and then called for an additional $1700. I had to talk to a manager to get a fair compromise and I am sure that she had know idea about the condition the vehicle was in. The technician took forever to quote repairs even after being asked on several occasions... When they did read quotes.... they quoted around $3000 in parts and over $8000 in labor to complety rebuild the vehical and suggested a new one instead. What company charges over $300 an hour for labor? The Ford site says $69. The technician broke the dash in half... yes, it is an old truck and has its issues, but now it is held together with gorilla tape and fell off less then 3 days later. We took the truck in to replace a heater core and a battery so that my father wouldnt freeze during the Colorado winter. What we learned was that this dealership and service center is horrible. I have used toyota, lexus, and nissan for years and have never had such bad customer service. They meet their quotes, complete repairs, provide loaners, and they would have fixed things they broke during the service. On a positive note... the heater core works for now. Pick well during these holidays... I would suggest another company if you are thinking of buying. My opinion of Ford has diminished and I see why they are struggling. Do better! More
