We went to dealership on January 31, 2012. Salesman Will Bishop was standing outside when we arrived so that is the salesman we used. We wanted to purchase the 1997 Ford F350 crew cab diesel. Our truck was totaled so we were going to receive a check so we could get another vehicle. When we viewed this truck it had not been detailed and the safety inspection had not been completed. Because we weren't allowed to take the truck without having the money up front the dealership had plenty of time to complete things. We specifically told Will Bishop that we wanted it detailed. It was very dirty. The seats and carpet had spots. The dash was dusty etc... Will said no problem he would send it in to be detailed. Well, Feb 9, 2012 we picked up the truck. The inside had not be touched at ALL! The carpet has spots so does the seats. The dashboard is all dusty. We are taking pictures to send!! Also on Jan 31st we were told that a mechanic would go over the vehicle. Now I question if that was completed. We paid the dealership delivery and handling fee. We have NEVER purchased a vehicle from a dealership and the inside looked like crap! We didn't know it wasn't completed until they completed the sale and we left. Because we were already aggravated at the dealership we were not going back inside and waiting another two hours for it to be completed when they had from Jan 31 to Feb 9th to have completed this!! We have bought two other vehicles in the past from Phil Long but not ever again. More
We bought a Ford F-250 from Phil Long Ford and had one of the best car buying experiences we've ever had. All of the sales staff were friendly and knowledgeable (no pressure). We had such a great experience that a few days later we called and spoke to the general manager, Kevin Shaughnessy, to commend the sales staff. He was also very nice and personable. Throughout the entire process, we felt that we were treated with kindness and respect and that we were valued as customers. We highly recommend this dealership. I would just like to say that I have never had the type of buying experience that I had with Jennifer Spiegle and her team at Phil Long Ford Denver. Chai and Steve came up with right numbers to make the deal that I needed to get my New F150 SuperCab. It was a fast and easy deal. Patrick was good to work with in finace, he was fast in geting the banki deal that I needed to get my New F150 SuperCab. It was a fast and easy deal. I am looking forword to Greg and team taking care of my F150 when putting the extas on the truck that we want. I am hoping that this F150 gives me the long life that the older Dodge trucks gave me, I am not happy with the poor quality that we have on the 2009 Dodge we also have.
