The staff in the service center is terribly dishonest and condescending. One time during a full service oil change they told me that I needed new brake pads on the front of our escape. I knew they were trying to scam us because I had just put brand new pads on about 2 months before. Then the other day I was having a problem with my F150 and suspected it may be something with the computer, so I took it to them to have it tested. Although they did diagnosed my problem (for $145) as a bad throttle body, they wanted over $900 to fix it. Then they basically told me anything else other than them performing the work was wrong and that it would need to be replaced and I would be wasting me time cleaning it and it would just fail anyway. Well, I picked up my truck, bought some throttle body cleaner for $5 and cleaned it...and it ran just fine and is still working today. Save yourself the time and money and go elsewhere. More

When we picked the vehicle up we noticed the A/C still did not work. So we called them to ask them about it and they told us, "Oh, we repaired the audio." The audio? It was never broken! We've called numerous times to resolve the issue and each time we are told, "Our service department manager is looking into it, and we will call you back." Unsurprisingly we have never been called back. More

Service Center Scam We purchased a vehicle from Phil Long last year. We took it in for one of the "free oil changes", and they told us the brakes needed replaced and quot We purchased a vehicle from Phil Long last year. We took it in for one of the "free oil changes", and they told us the brakes needed replaced and quoted a $500 price tag to do it. The thing is, I just changed the brakes myself less than 3 months ago. Since we've got the vehicle back, the brakes have started audibly grinding. This was not the case before they touched it. Stay far, far away from this place. More
Chapel Hills does not compare to Motor City service dept. I switched to Chapel Hills as I moved north. I have had 3 terrible encounters to this point. Misdiagnosis of a tire which had a nail in it and I end I switched to Chapel Hills as I moved north. I have had 3 terrible encounters to this point. Misdiagnosis of a tire which had a nail in it and I ended up with a flat tire in Denver due to that-- could have been worse! They didn't even have a record of my being there! 30 hours to do an oil change and tire rotation, plus fix radio. And radio is not fixed! Service agent will NOT return my calls! Very poor management and customer service. May be worth the drive to Motor City. More
