Escape beats Forester I had convinced myself I was going to order a 2017 Forester. But after checking in to the Escape...thought we'd take a look/see. Bottom line is we s I had convinced myself I was going to order a 2017 Forester. But after checking in to the Escape...thought we'd take a look/see. Bottom line is we stopped at Phil Long Ford of Chapel Hills on our way to the Subaru dealer. They were willing to negotiate on the price (even on the 2017 Escape). That, plus the features of the Escape sealed the deal. PLUS, at NO time were we "pressured' to purchase anything we did not want to. We DID purchase the extended warranty because we tend to keep our cars a long time and with all the electronics; one use could pay for the cost of the contract. We are VERY happy with the Escape and the deal. More
