I have reached out to this dealership this morning in email, as they have requested... I will post updates as they become available in improving my situation and as I am able to come back and amend things here. So far I have received the key and it has yet to be programmed or cut, which I am sure will be an additional expense at any other dealership than Phil Long.

I’m at a loss at this time wondering where the title to the truck that I paid cash for in January resides at this time, especially since I am in need of plates and at the least another temporary tag.Subject: Title hold-up Deal #266197 saying that she was told by DMV that corrections need to be made on our end in order for her to get plates. They are saying that she bought the truck Jan 30th 2021 yet Phil Long Ford Chapel Hills acquired the truck March 19th 2021. She said she has an expired temp tag and wants to know how we are doing to fix this. I had waited to receive the paperwork from Phil Long Ford before I made the appointment for the County Clerk office to get the plates and registration, albeit, the appointments are running 8 – 12 weeks. Upon arriving for the appointment on June 16th, it was discovered the title showed that Phil Long purchased the truck on March 3, 2021 and I purchased it on January 30, 2021. This is what caused the rejection of me being able to register the truck, as they stated Phil Long could not sell a vehicle they did not own according to the paperwork Phil Long Ford provided to me via certified mail on April 3, 2021. I do have a new appointment for registration on August 18th and I am cautiously optimistic this can be resolved by then. I’m not as concerned about another temporary tag as much as the title being correct.

Are full disclosures not a part of Phil Long's practice for sales reps. From beginning this vehicle was a huge problem. No-one ever got back to us to get vehicle fixed, we were told to go to service, service told us to go to sales person, this went on for almost 6 mths, then apptmnts were set by sales and go to my apptment and they don't have me down. Then it ended with finding out there were fees to bring back a leased vehicle, at no time was this ever disclosed to us.
