Bought a brand new 2021 F150. Sooo many problems with it. Windows don't work, windshield wipers don't work, squeaks and rattles throughout the truck among other things.. Truck has less than 10,000 mile it. Windows don't work, windshield wipers don't work, squeaks and rattles throughout the truck among other things.. Truck has less than 10,000 miles on it, have had it in 5 times, they have had it more than 2 weeks in total, and I still have problems with it. Every time I take it in they fix about half the problems. They really don't even check to see if they fixed the initial problem. I don't know if I got a lemon or the new Ford trucks are not put together very well, but their service dept is not great. Also the last time they had it for more than a week. When I picked it up they didnt even wash it. I mean they had it for a week, it was way dirtier when I picked it up than when I took it it. Maybe the sixth time will be the charm. More
We reserved a Mach E in December of 2019, placed the order in June of 2021 and received it in October of 2021. The dealership was professional and helpful and the finance manager was wonderful to work order in June of 2021 and received it in October of 2021. The dealership was professional and helpful and the finance manager was wonderful to work with (which is unusual in my experience). The only con of the process was that the salesperson gave a very positive response to a request and then came back and said it couldn't be done (although it was for an unusual 'longshot' request). The rating on Fred Thomas required by this rating website is arbitrary since we never worked with him. More
Stopped in to look at one of their used trucks. I told the sales guy Jimmy that I wanted to test drive it and in the mean time if he could get an offer to purchase my car today. He said no problem, I went the sales guy Jimmy that I wanted to test drive it and in the mean time if he could get an offer to purchase my car today. He said no problem, I went for a test drive, he appraised my car. I didn't really like the truck but was interested in the trade value. I asked him what the value of my trade was, and he wouldn't give me a figure. He said it depends on the car you buy. I told him that was stupid and the cost of my trade is independent of the car I want to buy. He persisted for a while without giving a real reason of why he couldn't give me a figure. He also kept asking if i knew my remaining loan value.... I wouldn't give it to him. Eventually after 15 'let me talk to my manager's, he gives me a value WAY under market. I laugh and he says 'i need to stay competitive... so that is our offer'. He did a few more let me talk to my managers, and eventually came back with a reasonable price, but by that time i wanted nothing to do with them. Basically this dealership uses snake like tactics. If you want to buy one of their car's, you better pre prepared to deal with their bs. Not all dealerships are like this anymore. More
The salesman was very friendly and went above and beyond to get me into the vehicle I wanted. All the people I have dealt with are very friendly and professional. I had a great experience and would recommen to get me into the vehicle I wanted. All the people I have dealt with are very friendly and professional. I had a great experience and would recommend buying from this dealership. I told my neighbor about my experience and he purchased a vehicle the next week. This is one of the best dealerships I have dealt with in many years. More
Whatever you do do not buy a car from Phil long do not do what I did and say oh you have a warranty.. it doesn’t matter the parts department has no parts the service department sucks. My brother bought a tru what I did and say oh you have a warranty.. it doesn’t matter the parts department has no parts the service department sucks. My brother bought a truck they changed the oil the first time and blew the engine because they put the wrong amount oil in. I went six months freezing my xxx off in the winter because I didn’t have a simple blender motor and even if they did they had to disassemble half of the truck to put it in. Took them a month to get a blender motor. Then I brought my truck in to get a hose put in under warranty while I was on vacation in Tennessee. A tow truck driver from swyft towing backed into it move my truck across the parking lot. When I got back home, Phil Long told me I had to take care of it they didn’t give me a lender vehicle they didn’t even say sorry that my vehicle got destroyed in their care. Also, they didn’t even put the xxxx hose on!I’m still dealing with the insurance company who’s trying to charge me $1000 because the tow truck company & Phil Long doesn’t want to pay for it. I get the privilege of hiring a lawyer so that I could barbecue their xxx! They are the worst I’ve never seen anywhere. I now go to Larry H Miller Ford in Longmont and that’s where I will buy my next truck. Phil long is the worst by far and if you want to have problems and you want to have a vehicle that you can’t get parts for and you might consider them otherwise….Buy a Toyota. More
Well, this dealership is working hard to maintain their negative image. We went to Phil Long Used cars Monday August 16, 2021 for a used vehicle and the process was working smoothly with negotiation and al negative image. We went to Phil Long Used cars Monday August 16, 2021 for a used vehicle and the process was working smoothly with negotiation and all that is involved in a vehicle purchase. Once an agreement was made the lies began…. I had been told earlier in the discussion that there was a second key (which would be recovered for me prior to my leaving that night). I was also told they would detail the car and fill the tank. After I finished with the finance department I was told by my salesman, Gabriel, that the key was locked up in an inaccessible area and that they would have to overnight it to me the next day. Having no other recourse, I agreed and went home believing what they said to me. When I got in the truck there was 1/2 tank, grateful for but if you say fill the tank, FILL THE TANK! The day after the purchase, I am at home (1.5 hours from the dealership which they are well aware of) when I receive a call from my salesman that they DO NOT have a second key for this vehicle. Now I am becoming quite upset and really just want to take the vehicle back when they say they will overnight a key fob that we can take to any dealership for programming (an hour away) or I can contact them and they will talk me through the programming instruction. So, at this point we don't have high hopes in them following through and actually sending the key. It would be great if they did, they provided an amended "we owe" via text image to illustrate that they will follow through but I am not holding my breath. The second issue didn't come to my attention until after the fact when I was reading reviews regarding this dealership. A couple of previous customers had written that this dealership gives you a printout from the National Transportation and Safety Board, with regard to the vehicle you are purchasing, that lists recall information… BUYER BEWARE: this report says 0 recalls. I went to the FORD website yesterday and entered the VIN for the vehicle I purchased and there was 1. Thankfully this recall was listed as being handled in the Carfax maintenance section however, if I hadn't followed up my experience with reading about where I went, I would have never know to even check! Now, I WILL consider updating/amending this review should they come through with the second key as they stated. It is just so sad they resort to lies and customer deception to sell vehicles but I guess they maintain their shyster reputation and feel the need to uphold it. 8/18/2021: Amendment to this posting… received a blank replacement Intelligent key today from Phil Long Ford. I LOVE my vehicle, but I HATE the deal I got from hardline negotiations with Phil Long Ford. They had the vehicle I wanted (2017 Toyota Tacoma Off-Road, in INFERNO color), and they took advantage of hardline negotiations with Phil Long Ford. They had the vehicle I wanted (2017 Toyota Tacoma Off-Road, in INFERNO color), and they took advantage of my desire for this vehicle to make loads of money off me coming and going. I paid only around $1000 less than the Tacoma sold for NEW (3 1/2 years ago, 68K miles), and they low-balled my trade-in vehicle (2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser). They argued the "tight" used vehicle market to keep my price high on the Tacoma, and when I tried to say the same would apply to my FJ Cruiser, the floor manager didn't budge. They listed it for $7,500 above my trade-in allowance within 24 hours of my sale, and it was gone (likely at that high price) in less than a week. I know I'm not supposed to let the dealer know how much I want something, but they still took advantage of an early-retired veteran. More
We had the best experience when we bought our Ford F150 last weekend. We will absolutely go there again if we need to buy another vehicle in the future. last weekend. We will absolutely go there again if we need to buy another vehicle in the future. More
