I went in hoping for an honest assessment but left feeling misled and frustrated. After inspecting my car, the dealership informed me that the head gasket was likely blown and that an expensive repair was necessary. However, I later confirmed with a trusted source that my head gasket was neither leaking nor blown. Given that I had no history of overheating or coolant issues before this recent leak, it felt as though the dealership was exaggerating the issue to upsell an unnecessary repair. To make matters worse, when I asked for test results or documentation of their findings, they refused to provide any. This lack of transparency made me even more suspicious of their diagnosis. I hadn’t purchased my car from this dealership, but I still expected professional integrity and clear communication. Instead, I felt like my concerns were exploited for financial gain, and their unwillingness to share test results only added to the experience’s negative impression. Bottom line: I would not recommend this dealership’s service department for diagnostics or repairs. If you go in for a diagnosis, double-check any serious claims they make, and be prepared to insist on documentation—it might save you from costly and unnecessary repairs. More
