Car repair Side bumper was knocked off and I brought car in to repair. Friendliness from the entire staff was observed and welcomed. After the parts were ordered, I was allowed to choose a date for the repair. Efficiency and quality were two of the adjectives I would use to describe my experience. I settled in with my Guideposts magazine expecting to be there and hour and a half or more. About an hour later, my car was ready and I could proceed with my day. Warranty Hassle I bought a battery from the parts department for my wife's car a few years back. The battery had a 90 month warranty. 50 months into the warranty th I bought a battery from the parts department for my wife's car a few years back. The battery had a 90 month warranty. 50 months into the warranty the battery totally died. When I called the dealer they claimed that they could not look up my sales record on their computer and that I needed to produce the receipt to get the warranty. So either they have an antiquated computer system, or were just being dishonest to try to deter me from getting the warranty honored. I had the receipt, but had to go out of my way (in a car that needed a jump every time I started it) to get the receipt at my house on the other side of town. The whole process at the dealership took about an hour. It was like they had never done this before and on top of that they weren't very nice and tried to tell me that the battery was fine (which proved untrue, because the new battery totally fixed the problem). Once they finally prorated the battery, they wanted an additional 20 to install it. So I went out in the parking lot in cold weather with my nice work clothes on and did it myself. If I were the manager, I would have warrantied the battery and had one of my mechanics install it while my customer went to grab lunch or something... That would have been good service and really wouldn't have costs the service department more than about 15 minutes for a low end shop helper. Overall bad experience that could have been made a great experience with very little effort on the staffs part. More

Wonderful Experience I was in the Athens area on a business trip when my Honda Accord's engine light came on. I called David at the service center only two hours before cl I was in the Athens area on a business trip when my Honda Accord's engine light came on. I called David at the service center only two hours before closing. He kindly listened to my situation, gave me clear directions to the service center, quickly ran a diagnostic on the engine and serviced the car within the hour. David was extremely professional and explained everything including what was cover under the warranty. I would highly recommend David and his staff! More
