My most recent service at Peterson Toyota was the worst I have ever experienced in my 39 years of driving. All I requested was a simple oil change and the service department--without my authorization--did a have ever experienced in my 39 years of driving. All I requested was a simple oil change and the service department--without my authorization--did additional work on the vehicle and then demanded payment for the additional services after lying to me that my wife had authorized the additional work. When they finally admitted they had not spoken to my wife my options were to pay for the service or wait until the end of day for them to exchange the new parts with the old parts. Neither option was acceptable to me but I needed my vehicle so I was forced to pay for the additional service that I did not approve. The service manager of Peterson Toyota called me two days later and apologized for the mistakes made by his service personnel. He promised to refund my money, however, 30 days later I have yet to receive a refund. Peterson Toyota is the worst dealer based service department I have ever encountered. I will never go back. We enjoyed working with Ben to find the right car. There were a few things that needed tending to and the detailing shop got them done for us before we left. Definitely a positive experience in every respect. I did need some help from the service department on a recent weekend and called twice but never received a call back. They did say they were very busy that day and I had a minor problem. I stopped by the dealership to get some information and once again Ben was very helpful in getting my problem solved. More

We started our Toyota discussion with Allen Pederson and he was very personable and knowledgeable about the Toyota vehicles in which we were interested. He was also very patient when it came to answering our questions. We left the first visit undecided. The next visit he was not available so we spent some time with Make Taylor. He took a lot of time addressing our concerns and we even got down to looking at some pricing figures on the Toyota Camry hybrid. We were not happy that we did not get the $3100 discount that had been mentioned was available on the 2013 Camrys. If it had been mentioned it was not available on the Camry XLE hybrin it went over our heads so that was a sticking point when it came down to the finaly decision. We ended up received about a $1600 discount which still was not completely satisfactory but since our existing car was in an accident the day before we had to move ahead. (accident not my wife's fault). So we told Taylor we would make the purchase. We came back the next day and Allen Pederson took over with the final process. He took time to explain some features on the vehicle and told us to come back anytime or call if we had questions and we drove off in our first Toyota. Only time will tell if we will be happy with either the vehicle or future relationships with Peterson Toyota. The additional $1500 discount would have helped us to leave a bit more happy. All of the Peterson Toyota employees were friendly and helpful during the entire purchasing process. Even though we didn't show up until the evening to begin the process and we didn't finish until late i helpful during the entire purchasing process.
