Dishonest Internet Finance Manager and Salesperson BUYER BEWARE!!! The internet finance manager (dishonest) claimed that in order to "hold" a vehicle long enough for me to come look at it he had to ha BUYER BEWARE!!! The internet finance manager (dishonest) claimed that in order to "hold" a vehicle long enough for me to come look at it he had to have a credit card number. He assured me over the phone it was "...only for the purpose of holding the vehicle and that if I chose not to purchase the vehicle for any reason, 100% of the hold amount would be credited back to my card, no problem". I provided my information and the very next day my credit card showed a $1000 charge by Peterson Toyota Scion. Soon thereafter, because my Credit Union still had not received paperwork or a Purchase Order from the dealership, we waited patiently. Long story short, I decided not to purchase the vehicle. Days later I still was not seeing the charge reversed on my credit card as promised, so I tried (several times) to contact the sales person (and finance manager) - no responses. I eventually text the sales person again (Adam). He indicated he understood my situation and would contact his manager about reversing the charge. Then, silence again. I again sent a message to the dealership via their website AND I again text Adam. Today I received a somewhat rude text from Adam stating,"we both told you it is NON REFUNDABLE and it is now out of my hands". NOTE - It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out Adam would not have initially said he would talk to his manager about reversing the charge had he previously told me it was not refundable. Also, the internet sales manager took my credit card information and charged my card long before a Purchase Order ever even arrived at my credit union for financing. He was not supposed to do anything except put a $1000 bank hold on my card - not process a charge. I have now filed a dispute with my credit card company, which should never be something a "valued customer" should ever have to do. Apparently, dishonest people work at this dealership and the owner needs to have a little one-on-one time with the internet sales team. Customers like me don't just make this stuff up, but we will do everything possible to inform others when dishonest business practices are employed. Again, BUYER BEWARE of at least the internet sales team. PS. In all fairness, if this internet manager and salesperson come clean and I get my money back (as promised) I will let that be known as well. Best Truck Buy Experience Ever! Mr. Dan Willmorth is the best truck sales consultant ever! He is methodical, consistent, knowledgeable, straight-up, hardest working guy to find what Mr. Dan Willmorth is the best truck sales consultant ever! He is methodical, consistent, knowledgeable, straight-up, hardest working guy to find what I was looking for! We talked to find out what I needed a truck to do, to include size, power, torque, capability, durability, adaptability, and more. He gave suggestions, options, and explained choices accurately, completely, and until I understood what the issues were. Dan's assessments were always right, supporting what I determined I wanted in a truck as the focus. He never pressed for "the sale", he met my needs as a truck buyer! The vehicle I purchase, will be from Mr. Dan. 10 out of 10 Stars for Dan Willmorth! More
Great Expereince, Again! My 2003 4Runner was needing an upgrade after only 13 years. I guess they don’t make them like they used to, I was hoping for 250k miles. I love the Toyota product so returned to Peterson Toyota for another go-around. I met Curt Knipe on the lot while walking through 4Runner row. Lots of inventory, too many choices for a simple man. Curt patiently explained the models and options, and even conjured up a great late model used 4Runner for comparison. I apologize to Curt for my vehicle selection process, it had more twists than the 2016 Presidential campaign. Guided by his steady advice I purchased a new 2016 4Runner, and I LOVE it! Thanks to Curt who put in about 200 miles in “test drives” with a mind-numbing soundtrack of blues, jazz and central European gypsy punk rock. Curt I hope your facial tic has subsided by now. Five starts for Curt!!!! More

They walked us through the dealership and had all the time in the world to show us any car we wanted. We were going to buy used but we got such a good deal on a 2017 Toyota that we were able to purchase brand new. More

"Unintended new car purchase" I took my Highlander, which I loved, in for a routine service check. Someone suggested I look at the RAV 4 and that is when we met Richard Huntley. I took my Highlander, which I loved, in for a routine service check. Someone suggested I look at the RAV 4 and that is when we met Richard Huntley. He took us for a drive, explained all the features, etc. We liked the car, but said we needed to think about changing cars. In a couple of days we called and made an appointment with Richard and went through all the features again and he even ordered lunch in for us. Richard is a very personal, kind and patient salesman. He made this experience very pleasant for us Senior citizens. We purchased the RAV4 (our third Toyota purchase from Peterson's) and find it perfect for me. Richard has followed up with us just to check and see how we were doing with our new car. I would highly recommend that you visit with Richard if you are interested in a vehicle. More
Stress free buying experience. Finally - a stress-free car buying experience! And it all started with a no-pressure salesman by the name of Darin Bunger. In the "old" days you go Finally - a stress-free car buying experience! And it all started with a no-pressure salesman by the name of Darin Bunger. In the "old" days you got this pushy salesman who you knew couldn't make the deal you wanted and would just throw you at the mercy of the arm twisting Finance Manager where you were expected to go back and forth, haggling on the price. I was expecting to get the sales pitch of this truck and that car, but to my surprise, the salesman that approached me and the truck I was looking at quickly produced a key, opened it up, and proceeded to point out the features of the truck. I had to ask him how he knew so much about this particular model and he said that he had one just like it. Excellent. After the test drive and when it came time to make the deal, I told him what I wanted for my used car and what I wanted to pay for the truck. He didn't even flinch. And I though I had really low-balled him. Five minutes later, he came back from the arm twisting Finance Manager, who turned out to be a great guy, and said "You got it!" Sweet. Darin even stayed late to help me sync my phone to the truck's bluetooth capabilities. Thanks Darin and Peterson Toyota. Boy, am I happy with my purchase! Dan Doherty More

Britt worked with us over a long period of time to get us the vehicle we wanted at the right price. There was never any pressure from the dealership or from Britt. This is the second vehicle we have purchased here and highly recommend them. The service department is excellent also. If you live in southern Idaho and are thinking about a new car you need to see Britt at Peterson Toyota. More

Then one day she emailed an offer that I couldn't pass up! I went in and a dealer who already knew my name and what car! Amazing! I didn't even have to enter the building. His name was Z (I would say his full name but can't pronounce it). He was great! Went out of his way just to satisfy me. When we were waiting we had some people come up and check in with me! All in all I love their business and would come back if I wanted a new car. More
