This dealership is unique in that the first Service Advisor that helps you is the same one who keeps you informed on the progress of your vehicle and when it's ready. Very pleasant and professional. For the oil change aspect of this visit, they get a 5. Jake was fun to talk to. The oil change was a freebie as it was for the 1st 5000 miles after a new car purchase, so the price was great. Generally Jake was fun to talk to. The oil change was a freebie as it was for the 1st 5000 miles after a new car purchase, so the price was great. Generally I would give Peterson repair pricing and service an "ok" based on previous experience with an older Toyota. The average wait time for a scheduled oil change is an hour, which is more than I'd like to wait. If you are not scheduled, it is often longer than that. The strong suit of the repair and service department at Peterson Toyota is the friendliness. More
Jeff is courteous and conscientious.....the recall on my daughter's Toyota required two trips into Peterson, one to determine if the part number was in the recall list, the second to replace the part. My husband and I have been working with Shawn since 1998 when he was on the sales floor. He's a no pressure sales guru, very knowledgeable, and works within your budget. My tape deck would not eject the disc, and it seems no one will work on a factory installed stereo. I went to the dealership (not the one I'd purchased my car from) to find a solution. The service rep wa one will work on a factory installed stereo. I went to the dealership (not the one I'd purchased my car from) to find a solution. The service rep was very helpful. He found that the extended warranty I'd purchased for my 06 Rav4 covered the replacement of the faulty tape player and for the cost of the deductible I am back on the road. Also taken care of on the visit was a recall on the driver side floor mat. Also found that the clicking in my transmission "box" is due to deformed plates. While it is not dangerous it is annoying, but also not covered under my warranty. Seems to me it should be as it was not caused by owner misuse. How about that Toyota??? Anyone else with this problem?? This dealership has proven to be excellent in service and customer service alike. Jeff Crabtree is a very knowledgeable service advisor. My RO# is 218812. More
RO# 219060. I came in for an oil change (2007 RAV4, 110K miles) and wound up needing a water pump and front brakes. Yes, this cost more than what I originally expected to pay, but considering that I will b miles) and wound up needing a water pump and front brakes. Yes, this cost more than what I originally expected to pay, but considering that I will be on a multi-thousand mile road trip in a week it was MUCH better to find out about this now instead of the middle of the desert with a fried engine and a massive towing charge added into the mix. I have never had a problem with the service staff at Peterson's (or their sales staff either), but I am especially impressed with Service Advisor Shelby Billig. She is always pleasant, extremely helpful and seems to always have a cheerful demeanor with a permanent smile to match. Peterson Motors take note: you would be IDIOTS to ever let Shelby go to work for ANYBODY else. She's a gem, and does your business proud! More
This online review is regarding RO/invoice # 218624. Todd Clark our service consultant contacted us daily with an update on the analysis of our vehicle problems. He gave regular updates on the analysis and w Clark our service consultant contacted us daily with an update on the analysis of our vehicle problems. He gave regular updates on the analysis and work progress and on the costs involved which we greatly appreciated. He coordinated transportation and when our car was done it was clean from top to bottom even under the hood. I really appreciated his commitment to service. He is the kind of employee that builds customer loyalty and trust. Rob Rawls was the mechanic who worked on our car. It was a peculiar problem that was occuring intermittently. We had already had it at another dealership and within a day of driving it we were experiencing the same type of problems again. We have had other work done in the past at Peterson Toyota and that is where we bought the car and we have always been more than satisfied with the quality of work there. I told Todd when I brought it in that I was bringing it here because I knew they would not just throw new parts at it hoping they would fix the problem but they would spend some serious time really analyzing what was actually wrong. Well Robb did just that and he finally got to the source of the problem which was an ignitor intermittently causing cylinder 2 and 5 to miss fire. I am very pleased with the quality of workmanship and if I have my druthers I would ask for Rob to be my mechanic for all repairs in the future. Words just can't accurately express my appreciation for a job well done by two excellent employees. Thank You! Mike Prynch More
