The overal experiece was good but the cost for service seems a little high for an oil change. Even with an appointment, took an hour and a half for his service. seems a little high for an oil change. Even with an appointment, took an hour and a half for his service. More

Service Advisor Brett helped mw with repairs to my Jeep Grand Cherokee. He hooked me up with a great mechanic who was able to resolve an electrical problem with my jeep. He helped me find available disco Grand Cherokee. He hooked me up with a great mechanic who was able to resolve an electrical problem with my jeep. He helped me find available discounts for the work, which was great as it was spendy. They also discover my rear brakes were non-existent, and repaired them also for a reasonable price. I now feel confident about heading out for my planned road trip. Thank you Peterson Motors - great service. The RO number was 244724. More

I called to make an appointment and Bret was very nice. He Explained what it was that he was going to do on this service and why it was necessary. He gave completed all the work and under the expectedcx price. He also listed a few other services that are needed at this time and I will call him when I am ready to have the additional work completed. I have used this dealership for several other issues I have had with my 1998 4-Runner and am always happy with the service I receive. Thank you very much! More
TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I will NEVER return. I have lived in Boise, ID for three years now. I have always had my vehicle serviced at Wills Toyota in Twin Falls, ID because they are the only establishment th in Boise, ID for three years now. I have always had my vehicle serviced at Wills Toyota in Twin Falls, ID because they are the only establishment that I trust to do a great job and not rip me off. Yes, you read that right; I drove 120 miles one-way just to avoid Peterson Toyota. Well, I eventually found myself in a situation where I had to go to Peterson Toyota and boy oh boy do I regret it. I brought my Avalon in for an oil change, balance, alignment, and battery replacement. When I arrived, things seemed okay. It took about 5 minutes for someone to actually help me. There are six service stations, and you have your own service consultant to assist you. However, my service consultant was nowhere to be found, and the person I was trying to get to help me stayed on the phone for three minutes before finally assisting me. Once I met with my service consultant (Sam) and had everything set up, I went to the waiting room and relaxed for what I knew would be at least two hours. Well, nearly three hours later, my service consultant finally came and got me. It took THREE hours to complete an oil change, balance, alignment, and battery replacement. On top of that, Peterson Toyota wasn’t able to wash or detail my car. They did provide me with a free basic carwash card at an establishment one mile down the road, but that was an entirely other experience. When I left Peterson Toyota, I was very upset. First of all, they originally quoted me $300 for all of the services. It turned out to be $365. Second, I had a coupon for $10 off the oil change. They said they would apply it to the receipt. Nope! I left paying full price. Number three. The battery cost $105 which I expected. What I didn’t expect was that they would charge me $30 labor for installing it. Wills Toyota quoted me $100 for the battery and a free installation. The local Wal-Mart just down the road quoted me the exact same battery for $100 and free installation, too. I could have just gone to Walmart and received a better deal. Really!? Not that I trust Walmart mechanics, but it’s a battery. Come on. Nowhere that I found, charges a battery installation fee when you buy the battery from the establishment itself. Number Four. They charged me $26 in miscellaneous expenses. When I asked them what the supposed miscellaneous expenses were, they said it was for fluids used throughout the service, rags, etc. I can see why they do that, but that’s still way too steep of price. I understand that they have overhead, but I don’t need to be nickeled and dimed. Finally, the alignment job that they did was TERRIBLE. I left Peterson’s with car that wouldn’t drive straight down the road, literally. The steering wheel still would not line align straight up and down, something that should happen IF the alignment was completed correctly. Now, to be fair, I didn’t write this review until AFTER giving Peterson a second chance. The very next day, I called their customer satisfaction personnel (Tracy) and informed them of the problem. They weren’t very interested in speaking with me once I started complaining about the service. They gave me the brush off and said that someone from their service department would contact me to fix the situation. Sure enough, their service department did call me. Of course, they (Rich) had no idea why they were calling me because the customer satisfaction department didn’t communicate my concerns. So, I repeated everything one more time. They immediately acknowledged the off-centered steering wheel and wanted to get me in as soon as possible. They couldn’t get me in that same day or the very next day. Instead, they wanted me to come in three days later. I declined and firmly said that I wanted the issue to be corrected within two days. Sure enough, they suddenly had room for me two days later. So, I found myself back at Peterson Toyota two days later. I voiced my concerns to my service consultant, but they fell on deaf ears. I requested the service and repair reports from my first alignment, but magically, Peterson Toyota couldn’t find it. So I made sure to get an alignment report this time around. Sure enough, I looked at the pre-alignment numbers and compared them to the post-alignment numbers. The pre-alignment wasn’t even close to correct. In fact, it was way off! Why did they let me leave their service center with such a poor alignment after I paid $90 for it!? The service consultant said that it would take about an hour and a half to redo the alignment. I told him that I could wait for an hour and a half, but no more, because I was heading out of town. Nearly three hours later, and after complaining multiple times, my car was ready. Three hours for an alignment to be redone!? I was furious. Of course, they tried to sell on the fact that they washed and detailed my car this time, but my car had been washed just days before. As for their detailing, when I got back to my apartment, I found oil footprints on my driver’s side floor mats. Yes, someone had oil on the bottom of their boots, got into my car, and left lovely footprints on my floor mats. Regarding the $10 coupon for the oil change, the service consultant said a check would be mailed to me. It has been a week, and I have yet to receive any check. The service consultant also said that the labor for installing the battery wouldn’t be refunded and that it was a new fee that new management was charging. I will say, however, that the alignment was completed correctly – the SECOND time. But after two visits, nearly six hours of waiting, and $360, I wasn’t impressed at all. By the way, their service department that called me and set up the second appointment (Rich) did agree that the battery labor fee was ridiculous, and they would probably be doing away with it. However, I could tell that they wanted to give me the brush off just like everyone else there had already done. The service department said that the service manager would call me back two days after my second appointment to speak with me and hear my concerns. It has been a week since my second appointment, and I have yet to receive any phone call. So, in the end, this is how it went: battery installation fee, improper alignment, no check, no phone call, no apology, and terrible service. THE END. I will NEVER EVER return to Peterson Toyota, and I have already warned all of my friends and family (through Facebook, email, and phone) to never go to Peterson Toyota. I will happily continue to drive 120 miles to take my business to Wills Toyota in Twin Falls, Idaho. P.S. For generations, my family has owned Toyotas. We love them. A couple of years ago, my mom went to Peterson Toyota to buy a new car. It took more than 10 minutes of waiting before anyone offered to assist her. Then they said that they couldn’t do much to help her because the color of car she wanted wasn’t in their lot. They gave her the brush off but said they would call her the next day. My mom never received a phone call. And that’s when she went and bought a Honda. More

I like to schedule on-line, every time I do schedule on-line I get the time and day I want. Their Service Advisers are always friendly and service is prompt when my vehicle is dropped off. My vehicle on-line I get the time and day I want. Their Service Advisers are always friendly and service is prompt when my vehicle is dropped off. My vehicle is always ready when they say it will be. Their price is about the same as everyone else's - if other people say they are dissatisfied with the price it's probably because they want everything for free. More
On a very busy day Bret fit us in. The brake job was unanticipated but he explained the need clearly. When he didn't have the time to clean the car he gave us a voucher to be used at a nearby carwash. unanticipated but he explained the need clearly.
