When arriving for my first scheduled service I was greeted by Sam who is friendly and seems to take the customers interest into account. I told him that the drivers' seat back had a popping noise which he checked and confirmed. I also told him that there was a rattle in the dash that couldn't be confirmed without a test drive. When my vehicle was returned to the service area Sam advised me that the technician relayed to him that the rattle and seat popping "Were within limits". Does that mean many of the new Camrys' on the lot have the same problems? To express doubts would be an understatement. The brief hillbilly response of "B.S." would be appropriate. My previous vehicle was a 2008 Honda Accord with 132,000 miles on the odometer. The Honda did not develop any rattles or popping noises that the Toyota mastered in just 2,000 miles. Apparently the Honda has the ability to perform within different limits. More
The service department was very friendly and their shuttle service is a definite bonus! Only negative I have to mention is my Service Required light is on now :(. Fantastic experience with Peterson Toyota sales and support staff. All were respectful and good listeners. This dealership has improved night and day versus my last experience in 2007. They asked to earn my business and did everything to secure the sale from me. The price I received on my trade in was reasonable and it was one of those experiences where the buyer and seller walk away from the transaction feeling good. I would highly recommend Peterson Toyota to any prospective buyer. Lee Schnel and Jeff Crabtree are honest, geniune and respectful to their customers. I never felt pressure or had to suffer through the hacky dramatics I usually experience when I present a counter proposal back to the salesperson. Outside of Peterson, it is amusing to watch the saleperson give you a ridiculous offer with a straight face and then when you counter with your ridiculous offer, they act offended! Anyway, I would advise any buyer to give your salesperson respect and you will have it reciprocated if your salesperson is seriously wanting to earn your business. If not, WALK and don't look back. More

Service has been good to very good. However, the last two visits have resulted in some question in my mind that gas is being removed from the tank. The most recent event occurred when I took my Prius in two visits have resulted in some question in my mind that gas is being removed from the tank. The most recent event occurred when I took my Prius in for a service recall. I noticed shortly after the visit that my gas tank gauge indicated 1/4 tank left (two bars). I had very recently filled the tank and the mileage indicator showed I had gone 94 miles since the fill up. At 46 miles/gallon, which is what my indicated miles/gallon showed, I had used 2 gallons of gas since the last gas fill up. I notified the service department and left an email on the Peterson Toyota website. I took a picture of the gas gauge with my camera which is time and date stamped, but other than the picture, I can't prove anything happened. I park my car in the garage at night and since I filled up on a Friday evening, the vehicle had not been left where gas could have been taken. There was no damage to the gas tank cover. The only place it was out of my possession was at Peterson's. I have no reason to dislike Peterson Toyota or anyone that works there but this event and possible another makes me very hesitant to return. I will most likely take my vehicles to another dealer for service (I also have a RAV4). I wish my concerns have been addressed but as of this review, I am unsatisfied and will take my business elsewhere, just to be safe. More

The friendly relaxed sales manners of Wes Rice was what kept me talking. We was not sure what brand of auto to purchase but we knew we wanted a Hybrid. We asked every technical question we could to several dealers and I feel , Wes knew what he was talking about and if not he would say I do not know but I will find out. NO xx NO Hype. Just pleasant help and professional consideration of us and our time. We have put over 700 miles on it and we have averaged 40.8 MPG going over mountain passes and all on our way to CA. This car is not even broke in yet. We love the car and the feel of the ride. There was no hesitation or slow response on the mountain passes, just set the cruses and watch the economy displays show savings, mile after mile, after mile!! Thanks Wes JRM & JM More

This purchase has far surpassed my expectations and stands out as the most pleasant car purchasing experience I have personally had. Tommy read my personality very well. He seemed to understand that I wasn't to be pressured into making a decision, he respected my time by being available when I was available, was extremely attentive and knowledgeable, followed through timely, with multiple communications - both by phone and email, was energetic, and facilitated this purchase in a way that made the whole process easy. Being a business owner myself, I appreciate the quality of Tommy's representation of a truly outstanding dealership - Peterson Toyota. I have to be honest and say that my experience years ago when I purchased my last vehicle from Peterson's (1992) wasn't nearly as pleasant. Perhaps the dealership is being run by new management? Whatever the reason for the change, you guys appear to be hitting on all eight. Congratulations! More
