This was a safety recall notice service. Traci set up a convenient appointment, provided a brand-new Lexus RX-350 loaner car, attended to the service job in the time promised; and had a clean car with a fu convenient appointment, provided a brand-new Lexus RX-350 loaner car, attended to the service job in the time promised; and had a clean car with a full tank of gas when promised. Traci is always so friendly and helpful no matter what the question or need. We just took our 2003 ES300 Lexus in for the 90,000 mile service and they gave us a car to use until the next day and the serv the question or need. We have always had our service done at Peterson's and have had no problems. We had to call Traci back two days later as the starter went out and she got us in that day and it was replaced. We purchased a 2003 RX300 from Petersen Lexus in 2008, and opted for the supplemental warranty which was offered. After our car developed an engine knock, we took it in for analysis and were told that the and opted for the supplemental warranty which was offered. After our car developed an engine knock, we took it in for analysis and were told that the engine was badly damaged, and would need to be replaced. Since the engine was a covered component of our supplemental warranty, we expected that it would be covered. However, the claims manager (who is not part of the Peterson Lexus dealership) said that because there was sludge in the engine, it would not be covered. We had been very careful with all of our service events (although they were not performed at the dealership, but at a third-party shop), so our service advisor Traci intervened on our behalf with Lexus. Lexus asked us to provide the records of service, and Traci was able to get them to repair it for free! I'll definitely be starting there for our next vehicle purchase! More
