The last 2 times I've had my Lexus RX400h in for service - the service was NOT up to par. The first time it was for it's 25,000 mile oil change. The service person marked off that they checked everything, - the service was NOT up to par. The first time it was for it's 25,000 mile oil change. The service person marked off that they checked everything, but a couple days later, while at my tire store the mechanic noticed that one of the struts was "wet". The tire place suggested I take it back to the dealer as it might still be under warranty. So, I had to take it back to Peterson's again. The mechanic said it was "wet" and was under warranty and replaced it. I feel it should have been caught the first time. Then this Wed, Apr 4 I took it in for an inspection because my warranty was running out. They discovered it needed a new water pump. It was scheduled to be installed the next day (Thursday). I took it in Wednesday night and left it to be worked on Thursday. When I picked it up and drove it off the lot the check engine light was on. I had to take it back. According to the mechanic they knocked the timing belt off when they replaced the water pump. Let me say that Traci Recla has been very nice through out the whole ordeal, but I expected more from the Lexus Dealership. I could take it other places which wouldn't cost as much, but thought that the dealership would take better care of my car. Based on my past 2 experiences, this does not appear to be the case. Traci did give me a card for a free lube, oil, and filter change (which I assume would be good for my 30,000 mile check up. That was nice, but I'm still leary of the maintenance people. More
Very friendly and helpful person Order # 107717 I went in for a oil service and Traci looked up the Vin number and showed there was a recall on the 2005 RX330. Our service at Peterson Lexus has always been good. We were in for the 60,000 mile service on our Lexuc and Traci was very helpful, friendly and efficient. While dealing with Traci, we were treated very well. We were given a loaner car so we wouldn't be out of transportation while we were having work done. They also looked into things that hadn't been properl were given a loaner car so we wouldn't be out of transportation while we were having work done. They also looked into things that hadn't been properly fixed by an auto repair shop and we had paid for so we were able to get these things fixed the right way and our insurance covered it. I would recommend this service department because of friendly service, accurate diagosis of problems, and overall ease of the entire process. More
Peterson Lexus of Boise is the BEST!!!! We bought our Lexus there several years ago and have had only used their service for our Lexus. I met her on one of our first visits while getting Lexi's oil changed, tires rotated, etc. We are always pleased with the service on our car and customer service we receive. This visit was great. The two previous visits, I was disappointed that the complaint I had about a flapping noise under the hood was not fixed. They said it had been, but it wasn't. I Iive 150 miles away, so it is hard to bring it back. At those visits I also had an inoperable back seat belt which the said was fixed, but also wasn't and they ended up replacing it the following visit. Of course this was a big inconvenience as we have 2 kids. This visit was solely for a service and Traci was great. It was done very quickly, and washed quickly. I have given up asking to have the flapping noise repaired and will live with it. They had said they could see where the inner lining was not well attached, but apparently have been unable to fix it and I gave up asking. More
