We have been dealing with Peterson Lexus for approximately 8 years. This is the second Lexus that we have purchased from them. I first called to see if I could use a Toyota coupon for a brake repair and was assured something could be worked out. I also asked if he could reattach my original wiper blades and change the rubber as the aftermarket ones my husband had installed were not working as well. Gary promised to call with a status report and did (on both my home and cell). I was advised when to pick up my car. It was ready when promised and the price was even better than I expected because Gary had applied the coupon discount even though it was not specifically for Lexus models. More

Bought Lexus a couple of years ago - this service was for two recalls issued by Lexus. Only concern is that I called in February to request service and was told I would be called back when the parts were ava two recalls issued by Lexus. The last 2 times I've had my Lexus RX400h in for service - the service was NOT up to par. The first time it was for it's 25,000 mile oil change. The service person marked off that they checked everything, - the service was NOT up to par. The first time it was for it's 25,000 mile oil change. The service person marked off that they checked everything, but a couple days later, while at my tire store the mechanic noticed that one of the struts was "wet". The tire place suggested I take it back to the dealer as it might still be under warranty. So, I had to take it back to Peterson's again. The mechanic said it was "wet" and was under warranty and replaced it. I feel it should have been caught the first time. Then this Wed, Apr 4 I took it in for an inspection because my warranty was running out. They discovered it needed a new water pump. It was scheduled to be installed the next day (Thursday). I took it in Wednesday night and left it to be worked on Thursday. When I picked it up and drove it off the lot the check engine light was on. I had to take it back. According to the mechanic they knocked the timing belt off when they replaced the water pump. Let me say that Traci Recla has been very nice through out the whole ordeal, but I expected more from the Lexus Dealership. I could take it other places which wouldn't cost as much, but thought that the dealership would take better care of my car. Based on my past 2 experiences, this does not appear to be the case. Traci did give me a card for a free lube, oil, and filter change (which I assume would be good for my 30,000 mile check up. That was nice, but I'm still leary of the maintenance people. More
