After another Toyota dealership tried to pull one over on us...Brandon, Matt and Dewayne were able to work their magic and get us a BETTER deal on a BETTER/upgraded model in the COLOR WE WANTED! They even gave us way more than our trade-in was worth just to get us approved on this vehicle as opposed to a lesser model. We drove away in our dream truck thanks to these guys!!! I felt overly pressured by Mr Patel concerning buying additional warranties.  After 30 minutes of listening to his hard sell I got up to leave and headed for the door.  He rushed to the door and blocked additional warranties.  After 30 minutes of listening to his hard sell I got up to leave and headed for the door.  He rushed to the door and blocked me from exiting with his hand on the door. My 16 year old grandson was with me and later asked what Patel was doing and why?  Had I not been searching for an Avalon with those specifications for a lengthy period I would have driven away and looked elsewhere.  Nick, you were nothing but positive and I appreciate your kind attitude. It appears to me that you were a pawn in your sales manager’s hand, going back and forth. He was also pressuring me to purchase the car based on his price and not Carguru’s, plus the Peterson power train warranty telling me that it was mandatory: is that true?   From the beginning I was frustrated because I had to call many times to actually speak to anyone. I found the car on CARGUS/Autotrader and I drove 3 hours to see it because it was exactly what I had been looking for. After I got there I was denied the advertised price.  They said that was only CARGURUS price on the car and not theirs. The difference was about $2,000 over advertised price . Sounded to me like a false advertising bait and switch.  It was my first and last purchase from that dealership.     I would appreciate it if you would forward this to the two Peterson brothers or please forward me their contact info. I would like a personal response from Mr Peterson.  If I were the owner I would appreciate such information being passed on to me. More
