Service Department badly damaged my truck. I purchased my Dodge 2500 at this dealership and was happy with the purchase process. But THEN I started using their service department. Everything se I purchased my Dodge 2500 at this dealership and was happy with the purchase process. But THEN I started using their service department. Everything seemed to be going good until recently. I took my truck in for a routine oil change. When I brought it home it proceeded to leak oil from both differentials. when I contacted them about it, they told me to bring it back in to check. I did...they then told me it was "Pre-mature" wear and charged ME to fix it...even though there were no leaks BEFORE I took it in. Then to put icing on the turd pile, when I got my truck home after this visit, I noticed that they had badly mangled my "Rock Tamer" mud flaps. But because I had driven off the lot without first bringing it to their attention, they denied it was their responsibility. So the whole episode cost me the high side of $700 to fix their mistake and replace their damage. And, as proof they knew what they did I NEVER receive any of the usual follow-up calls or online surveys...nothing. So I came here to tell everyone what they did to me. I have not been back and will NOT go back. I will find service elsewhere...and I would advise that for anyone out there. More
Dealer ethics in question Recently I made a deal to purchase a new RAM 3500 from Stampede. The salesperson (Jody) gave me a disclaimer that the rear bumper had been "dinged" and was being replaced. I questioned her about the damage and was assured it was a minor bumper ding with no other body damage. I agreed to go forward with the deal and tender a $1000 deposit, subject to her sending me a picture of the damage. I continued to pester her for the picture and after 4 days she sent it. Wow, bedside, tailgate and what looks to me like frame damage in the picture. I contact Jody and tell her no way do I want this truck. I tell her she can order me the exact same truck. She then comes back with a $1000 increase in price to order. I tell her just refund my deposit, she agrees. Still no refund so I filed a dispute claim with Visa today. By the way I have left messages for the General Manager and have not received a call back. FYI the same truck is for sale on their web site today. Beware if your buying a New 3500 RAM from Stampede it may come with a bad Carfax. More

primitive business dealings for new car purchases I spoke on phone and texting with internet sales employee about new car purchase. She was polite and friendly. After several days of conversing she was getting ready to ask me to come into the dealership to discuss ordering a vehicle for purchase. At this time she had just spoken to a mgr in sales and the tonal change was apparent; it seems she was coached. She explained to me that 'if all i cared about was price/money then she wished me good luck purchasing a vehicle elsewhere.' I found that interesting. I did my homework and was only asking for a far MSRP pricing commensurate with internet pricers where they had the cost at. Ask yourself this, would you tell a dealer " what is the most I can pay?" Of course not. I am an 8 year Dodge owner so I already know the quality i'm getting. So what's next? Pricing? But all I care about is $$ so go somewhere else??! HaHa I feel sorry for the girl since she has to work for a coward of a boss so I wont include her name. He did a good job of making her handle his crappy work by telling a buyer that we are suddenly not a seller. wow, just wow. This is a business? More

Was yelled at by the sales manager for "wasting their time" after negotiations failed to get them their outrageous, above blue-book asking price for a used car. I couldn't believe he was talking to another human being this way, let alone a customer. I felt like a criminal for trying to talk them down $1,000 for a cash deal. I've dealt with many dealers over my life, and have never been treated this poorly by anyone, let alone a MANAGER. I'll tell all my friends to go elsewhere for their next car/truck. More
Information-based, not a Sales job Justyn Hanson was great. We hadn't purchased a truck for some time, and I really wanted to research all the domestic options out there, which I did thoroughly ..and throughout the whole process Justyn responded timely to all of my questions through about 6 months of contact with him. When we were satisfied with our knowing the right vehicle 'fit' for us, and when the timing was right, we were able to come in and very casually do the deal. We love the eco-diesel ..just a beautiful truck. Thank you to Peterson's and Staff, especially Justyn in this case, for making it a very casual, no-stress experience! More

UNBELIVABLE Everyone knows buying a new car can be stressful and you’re concerned you are going to get a bad deal. I have to admit my buying experience with Zach Everyone knows buying a new car can be stressful and you’re concerned you are going to get a bad deal. I have to admit my buying experience with Zach Nielsen was one of the most unbelievable buying experiences I have ever had. He was funny, polite, and most importantly got me into my dream Jeep while respecting my budget. I was there for quite a long time 5 hours to be exact with an 8 year old. He took his time with the both of us; he was patient, and kind. My daughter and I had so much fun with Zach that we didn’t realize how long we were there until we left for the day with our new ride! Thanks Zach!! More
