The staff at Peterson all made us feel special and that they were genuinely trying to get us the best deal on price and financing. They all exceeded our expectations! We appreciate it that they check in with us and are there to answer any questions. We would recommend this dealership and purchase from them again without hesitation. More

Some good - some bad, would recommed with caution I have a mixed review. I found an SUV online that I wanted and it clearly stated at Petersons in Nampa, that it was a "certified used" AND I also had I have a mixed review. I found an SUV online that I wanted and it clearly stated at Petersons in Nampa, that it was a "certified used" AND I also had a $250 off certificate. Well it turns out the SUV was at another location however the salesman was awesome and went to get it. I test drove it on snow covered roads and in freezing temps, and so I wasn't able to go over the car and make sure everything worked, etc - it was later in the day and I think people were looking to get home and so I wasn't offered a place to look the car over. Once I decided to purchase the car, I was told the "certified used" wasn't allowed because it was found at a different location and that the internet department hadn't been able to go through the car, take pictures, etc. They did get me a warranty, however I am paying for it in my monthly payments. As for the $250 certificate, I was told they would honor it however because the SUV was already on sale the fine print indicates I shouldn't get any more off the price. So my thoughts on that were, then it shouldn't give you the option to get the certificate and if the people hadn't had a chance to go through it, then WHY was it on the web site, and so in my opinion there was some false advertising. And the final disappointment was my trade in, I have always been told Toyota holds great value in trade....well not so much at this dealership. I had a 2013 Camry that I traded in, that had 14 month old tires, newly tinted windows, a new battery AND very low miles (as in 50K) and yet what I received for a trade in was considerably less than what other dealerships were willing to give me, however I really liked the SUV at Petersons and so I went forward with the trade....only to question myself. And so I guess you just need to be careful, know exactly what you want and what your willing to take, and proceed with caution. The only other thing that bothers me was that while I was signing papers and getting loan info, in my previous car purchases I had a couple of banks and interest rates to chose from; however at Peterson's they TOLD me the credit union I would use and did not divulge my interest rate, so once home (after the fast paced experience) I looked myself and I felt I did not get a very good deal (based on previous car buying) and though YES it is my fault I did not ask up front, I feel sort of "taken" on this. In the week and a half since purchasing my SUV there have been a few things come up that need fixed on the car, so hopefully that experience will be a much happier one for me. However no matter what I said above, my salesman Jake Logue was awesome.....I would recommend anyone see him for your next car purchase. More

Not as advertised Oh my, how to describe the buying experience at Peterson Stampede Dodge... Well, if you present a negative review, you MIGHT BE CONTACTED and warned Oh my, how to describe the buying experience at Peterson Stampede Dodge... Well, if you present a negative review, you MIGHT BE CONTACTED and warned to not utilize certain terms in your text, as was this customer. Excuse me? Let's see what might have instigated this problematic situation... My son and I traveled four hours ONE WAY to the dealership, with the promise that the desired vehicle was on the lot, because after all, the internet sales person could see it from her window! All details were given in advance, but somehow, the term, 4x4 was not heeded by the sales representative. Not wanting to waste the trip, another sales person showed vehicles of varying sizes and colors (RAM), and assured us that it was affordable due to the incentives offered. Wanting full price on the NADA list for the trade, all was discussed and agreed prior to signing the paperwork in finance. Lo and behold, the trade in was listed at $2,000 under the verbally agreed value, though no cash was placed as additional down payments so as to increase the sales mark on the loan amount for the benefit of the dealership. Oh, we wish you wouldn't do that; just put the additional monies on the vehicle after you purchase it... Quite a compromise for the customer, no? Apparently, the dealership reviews commentary regarding the sales of vehicles, as this customer was phoned three times, hence the opening statement... The response was that the customer didn't have to sign the final paperwork before leaving (the snow was beginning to fall and another four hour drive was committed for the drive home), and not to expect the additional $2,000 from the dealership. Well, THIS BUSINESS OWNER chooses to maintain honesty and integrity over making a buck! We hope that another's experience does not mirror our own... More
