Beware! I bought two vehicles at Peterson in July/August 2018; one for my son and one for me. I bought extended warranties and for my personal vehicle bought lifetime oil changes on the advice of my salesman. Last month I contacted a salesman at Peterson because I am loyal, and my daughter happened to be in the market for a car. I started working with a salesman (mine was no longer there) and after 3 days he stopped responding. I called the showroom and asked where he was, and they said they would have him call. Three days later he had still not contacted me. I decided to go to Kendell. My daughter bought her car and while I was there, I decided to trade the Journey I had bought from Peterson. I took my extended warranty to Peterson the next day and because the warranty is with another company, I was able to get a refund. I then asked for a refund for the rest of my lifetime oil changes and they refused saying it is non-refundable and that fact is in the fine print. Today my son and I drove to Petersons “Quick Lube”. I asked them to change his oil, rotate the tires and check the air pressure. I told them I had about trading my vehicle and said since I bought a lifetime oil change booklet could I have a refund or use the coupons for my son’s car since I bought the car from them. They refused to do either. They charged me $85 for the service on my son’s car. We left there and got about two miles down the road and the tire air pressure lights came on and we had to go to the gas station and put air in his tires. They did not even do the job I paid them to do. These people should be ashamed of themselves and the way they cheat people. I will never do business with them again. More

Great experience My husband (Joe )and I ( Diana )went to Peterson in Nampa , looking for a Truck to pull our 40 ft 5th Wheel . We were greeted by James , not a good experience . Then we got Duane , he made our experience there a great experience. Duane listened to our needs and showed us multiple Trucks . We were undecided on what we wanted , Duane was very patient with us , we went back four times before deciding on a 2017 Dodge dually . We are very happy with the purchase and Duane went beyond the duties and never gave up . He walked us through the whole purchase and we had a great time and laughed with all the jokes . I will say one thing , I didn’t like the fact he had to cover up his tattoo, he was a Navy Man and proud of his service . Thank you Duane LaFave for the great truck buying experience . More

Discrimination of women First off, let me say that our salesman, Austin was fantastic. He listened to our needs and goals and found what we were looking for. This isn't our first time with Peterson. Our first deal buying a new Cadillac was fantastic and quick. As for this new experience, if I could rate a zero for how the deal was handled, that's what it would be. We had our 10 day payoff, had our trade in value, and had what the used truck was worth. Being in finance myself, this was an easy deal. First, the used car manager put in the amount for the sale $500 higher than advertised online. His trade in amount was off by 5k. It took us 2 hours of back and forth to get nowhere. Being a woman in this deal, it felt as if Monty Love must have mistaken me for a unintelligent woman trying to buy a man's truck. Not the case. He lowered the price of the vehicle $50 below advertised. Knowing the truck was already 2.2k over worth, he made zero effort in the deal. In fact, he couldn't even come out during that time to speak with me, knowing how I felt. We walked out after 3 hours. If this is how your dealership treats women buyers, that's an absolute shame. I thought discrimination of women in the car business was over, but I was mistaken. If you're a woman buying from this dealer, beware! More
