I have lost faith in the quick lube facility. I think they randomly make up stuff that needs fixed on your rig to up-sell. I had my brake fluid flushed by a trusted independent shop 3k miles ago. I took my rig in yesterday for an oil change and was told my brake fluid was dirty and needed to be changed. I checked it when I got home and it was clean as a whistle. I was also told my aftermarket air cleaner element was filthy, but I had just cleaned it 3k miles ago. I could go on, but you get my drift. More

I came to auto.com and SPECIFICALLY put in used vans for sale. Their ad pulled up with a 2021 Promaster van for sale for roughly $3,500. I figured it was wrecked or no engine or something so I emailed them sale. Their ad pulled up with a 2021 Promaster van for sale for roughly $3,500. I figured it was wrecked or no engine or something so I emailed them to see what exactly was wrong with it. I got a reply back from a sales rep thanking me for contacting them about their new line of vehicles starting at over $46,000! Apparently, they are listing the down payment in the price on your sight as the selling price. That infuriated me because if I wanted bothered with a dealer or was looking for a NEW van, I would have taken a different route than searching for used vans online. I feel that was just a 'trick' (if you will) to grab my contact info so they could push their sales. A few days after I received emails, a supervisor contacted me to see if my request was being handled in a professional manner. So....they are aware of my dislike of their actions. More
