Recently, I detected a small vibration in my 2007 Recently, I detected a small vibration in my 2007 Chevrolet Avalanche's engine. I called Peterson Chevrolet in Boise, Idaho for a service appointme Recently, I detected a small vibration in my 2007 Chevrolet Avalanche's engine. I called Peterson Chevrolet in Boise, Idaho for a service appointment. I was told I could come by at any time to have the problem checked. As I have done business with Peterson Chevrolet in the past, I drove to the dealership. I was met by Service Representative, Heather Morris. Once again, as before, she greeted me and listened to my problem without trying to figure out the problem herself. She explained what she intended to do and told me she would talk to me before any work was done on the vehicle. Ms. Morris put me together with Robert Scherzer, GM maintenance technician. Robert rode with me and attempted to figure out the problem and how best to solve it. As it turned out, I had been using poor quality gas causing the engine to run slightly rough. Robert printed out a solution to the problem and explained how it would make my vehicle run better. Now I know this doesn't seem like much to the casual observer. However, a company dedicated to making as money as it can could have done things differently and charged me, as an unsuspecting customer, anything they wanted. This is the second time out of just two visits I have been pleasantly surprised at Peterson Chevrolet. I will continue to do business with Peterson Chevrolet because of employees like Heather Morris and Robert Scherzer. I value honesty and I see that with the employees of Peterson Chevrolet. I was very happy with the sales rep (Walter)with the time an patience he showed while my wife and i vacillated between two selections we had decided on. If i had to do over again i would start much earlie an patience he showed while my wife and i vacillated between two selections we had decided on. If i had to do over again i would start much earlier in the day as the process in closing became very time consuming. Although i'm not sure that was through my own fault or the paper work has become too cumbersome. I have one complaint that really grated on me but again probably my fault again. First, i was only out looking at vehicles to begin with, but the opportunity to purchase the Impala was too tempting. I had a full vehicle that needed to be transferred to the car after the paper work was complete. Unfortunately it was late evening (dark). When we finally completed the transfer we started out for home and realized the i drove out of the dealership with a gas tank reading empty. I just left a truck with approximately 24 gallons of fuel in it and would have thought the dealership would have at least made some sort of reciprocation. Other than that i would recommend peterson dealership to my friends with guidance. Robert Plant More
