The sales staff was quick to answer the phone but the good ends there. The service after the sale has been less than perfect. If I had known things would have been like this I would have went elsewhere good ends there. The service after the sale has been less than perfect. If I had known things would have been like this I would have went elsewhere. The service department is worthless. I bought a truck that came with a 90 day 3,000 mile warranty and its a good thing it did. I didnt even make it out of Idaho on my way to MN and it broke down. After getting to MN I had a bad shake in the steering. Only 1/3 of the worn parts were covered under the so called warranty. I had to pay over $1,000 out of pocket to fix the "certified" used vehicle. It has been almost 2 months and I still dont have my plates or title because the dealer sent incomplete paperwork to the wrong place and its now up to me to fix their screw up. Do yourself a favor and go down the road to Dennis Dillion and make your life much easier. More
My family exclusively shopped at Peterson's since he 60's. We purchased our Envoy XUV here 2 years ago and have had to put tons of money towards fixes. The sales crew was great. We gave them our budget 60's. We purchased our Envoy XUV here 2 years ago and have had to put tons of money towards fixes. The sales crew was great. We gave them our budget and they stuck to it. The service side was not fantastic. 2 out of 3 times that we brought the Envoy in for work I was told that we did not have a warranty. I had to go home and find our copy or have the service side call the sales side and get a copy or the warranty which we purchased at Petersons. Without the warranty we would have put just under $10,000.00 of work for a car that we purchased for $15,000.00. The last time that we took the Envoy in I had a list of things to do. The cost of doing the work that was not covered in the warranty was $2,200.00. This included breaks, 100,000 mile service, and an air conditioning belt. We received a second opinion and they came in at $740.00 for all of the same issues. When I picked up the Envoy the remote start had been disabled and the tubes to the washer fluid for the windows had been disconnected. I called twice and left a message to be called back and never heard from anyone. Our mechanic fixed these issues last week. Without the warranty I would not have any of our cars worked on in your service department. Also with the amount of potential money that we would have had to put into the car that we purchased there makes me either never want to buy a used car again or not buy from Petersons. Granted it could have been the luck of the draw but if you review the file of work done it is clear that none of this was done by us and was an existing issue. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to share this experience. I also must say that John Ash was a pleasure to work with and he has made these experiences much easier. More
My experience with Peterson Chevrolet was absolutely EXEMPLARY! From the appointment making process with Nick Perner, the sales experience with John Smith, the finance experience with Joe Dailey, and the EXEMPLARY! From the appointment making process with Nick Perner, the sales experience with John Smith, the finance experience with Joe Dailey, and the explanation of all of the features of my new 2013 Chevy Spark (TECHNO PINK!!!) with John Wright, I felt welcomed and treated with the utmost respect and courtesy. Each member of this team was patient, kind, and answered all of my questions thoroughly and knowledgeably. Every part of the experience was wonderful and made me sure that I was making the right choice and dealing with the best dealership in the state. The level of integrity that each and every one of these professionals showed is admirable and at the highest of levels. I am proud to tell everyone about my amazingly positive car purchasing experience with the professional staff at Peterson Chevrolet. Thank you Nick, John, Joe, and John for a great deal, a fabulous experience, and a car that I am so proud to own. You all took very good care of me!!! More
Great car at a great price. We where there on New Years Eve and evean though we kept them there after closing time, the employees were great. My only issue is that the entire process of buying a car takes Eve and evean though we kept them there after closing time, the employees were great. My only issue is that the entire process of buying a car takes so darn long these days. Peterson will be on my short list the next time I am in the market for a car, new or used. More
Within 4000 miles I had to take my truck into be repaired twice costing me an additional $2500. The problems should have been identified and fixed prior to purchase. twice costing me an additional $2500. The problems should have been identified and fixed prior to purchase. More

There are many preconceptions from the pubic for buying cars and dealing with dealerships in general and most are not good. People tend to feel, rightly or wrongly, that they will have to put up with a fas cars and dealing with dealerships in general and most are not good. People tend to feel, rightly or wrongly, that they will have to put up with a fast talking sales person that will do little but attempt to sell them something that they do not necessarily want or can afford and that little time will be spent listening to what the customer really wants. While I do not necessarily hold with this line of thought, I think it fair to say that there is some historical truth to some of the above. The experience that my wife and I had at Petersen was 180 degrees from this conception of buying a car from a big dealership. Terry Taylor, our internet salesman, treated us with complete professionalism from the outset. He allowed us to identify what our needs and expectations were, he has a complete grasp of his product line and used great listening skills to set up the negotiation necessary to conclude the sale of the Suburban to us. I would hasten to add that we were equally impressed by your financial manager who, when the deal was struck, carried us through to completion with great satisfaction. Last, after the car was delivered, we received follow up attention from the staff and Terry in particular. Because we purchased a vehicle with "all the bells and whistles", it dictated some necessary back and forth to be completely comfortable with the use and enjoyment of the new Suburban. Everyone at Petersen has helped us to enjoy the purchase and enjoyment of our new Suburban and we are completely satisfied. Bravo Petersen Motors and Terry Taylor!! More
