Price is outrageous I brought my 2004 Pontiac Grand Am in to have the turn signal stop a ticking noise = after it was turned off!! Sounds like an easy task == first I was charged $105 to diagnose the problem, then was told it would be $400 more to fix the noise - Think that is a totally outrageous amount to pay for such a minor problem == and I decided that for a ten year old car, to invest over $500 for a minor problem would not be worth while. So, it cost me over $100 to be told that the cost to fix it would be not worthwhile. Anyway, I enjoy the regular service and especially the excellent people you have working there ==and yes, your service agent did apologize for the cost and offer a 10% discount == but that still is a terrible price to pay for a ticking!!! Had my oil changed & tires rotated. I went through Debbie Hartwell for service to my old 04 Cadillac Deville. She promised an hour's wait time which I passed pleasantly in Peterson's co I went through Debbie Hartwell for service to my old 04 Cadillac Deville. She promised an hour's wait time which I passed pleasantly in Peterson's comfortable waiting room. Right on time, she came to get me, I paid the bill which was reasonable, and my car was parked conveniently outside the door ready for me. I always like coming to Peterson's, it is comforting to be taken care of so pleasantly with no hassle. More
Service I purchased a used Honda on 9/6/14 and on 9/8/14 the low tire pressure light came on. I stopped by Les Schwab to have them add air and I was notified I purchased a used Honda on 9/6/14 and on 9/8/14 the low tire pressure light came on. I stopped by Les Schwab to have them add air and I was notified that there was a lot of tread out of the center of both rear tires. I had only driven 20+ miles on the car. I called and was told to bring it in. I was treated very well and all 4 tires were replaced. I was very pleased with the service. Thank you! More

Transfer Case Service Peterson Chevrolet replaced my entire transfer case with new GM parts in July 2013. In September 2014, the rear seal of the transfer case was leaking. Peterson Chevrolet replaced my entire transfer case with new GM parts in July 2013. In September 2014, the rear seal of the transfer case was leaking. I don't think it should have leaked after 14 months and 11,000 miles. Debbie called me with the diagnosis. I was told that the seal was leaking and that the wrong fluid had been put in "probably by an oil service shop." When I pointed out that the entire system was replaced last summer, Debbie pulled up my history on the system. She then said "I have to check with the technician and call you back". Upon further review, there were two fluids leaking: transmission and transfer case. Two questions: 1. why didn't the service consultant know about the repair history before she called me (and before the tech started working on the truck?)? 2. Why was I told that the wrong fluid was put into the transfer case? In the end, this was all covered under warranty, so the cost was in line with expectations. But I had to make a trip for service that probably shouldn't have happened in the first place (14 months and the seal goes out??). My experience leaves me wondering about the accuracy of diagnosis and effectiveness of repairs. Thanks for reading my comments. More
