Worst experience of my life Totally disappointed in my dealing with this dealership. I traded in a car, I was told I was being given the payoff for my car. But instead the deal Totally disappointed in my dealing with this dealership. I traded in a car, I was told I was being given the payoff for my car. But instead the dealership took the entire payoff of my car and added it to the loan of the vehicle I purchased. When I was brought into the office of the finance person, he introduced himself. Made small talk with me to put me, I believe to put me at ease. He then started shuffling papers for me to sign. Telling me what each was, but not explaining them to me. I thought he was in a hurry to assist other customers. In hind sight he was hiding his true intentions of not explain in full detail what they had done in the financing of the vehicle. They added the entire payoff price of my trade. If I had known this, I would not have followed through with the deal. I am paying for my old vehicle and the one I bought from them. I will tell everyone about the shading dealings I had with this dealership in hopes that know one I know will ever buy a vehicle from them. More
Top Notch Customer Service When compared to the level of service provided by another dealership in the area that I had been working with Peterson's showed that they truly wanted When compared to the level of service provided by another dealership in the area that I had been working with Peterson's showed that they truly wanted to see me drive off in a new car. From the initial point of contact up to the final signature the whole staff proved to be at a higher level than others I had dealt with. They have earned my business, and likely my wife's as well. Love the new car and appreciate all the help Gary provided in the process. Keep up the good work. More

Jon worked with me to put together a deal long distance. While I was working on a project in Savanna Ga. I contacted Jon and we were able to do a trade on a new car over the phone. Jon worked to detail my car, park it in the showroom and two weeks later I picked her up. No surprises, just honesty and integrity. I highly recommend both Peterson Chevrolet and big Jon! More

Third purchase from Peterson We've bought our last three vehicles from Peterson and mostly enjoyed our experiences..Our last purchase has been our best experience mostly because w We've bought our last three vehicles from Peterson and mostly enjoyed our experiences..Our last purchase has been our best experience mostly because we felt that the salesman (Todd) was what all car salesman should strive to be. He was genuinely nice, knowledgeable, not pushy and he even fed us :). He found exactly the right vehicle for us and was enjoyable to be around. Also our brief time with Terry the finance director was painless, he didn't try to over sell and respected our decisions to refuse products as well as finding us a good lender. We also liked having our insurance needs handled in-store before we ever left. Great job Peterson! More

Out of state/online buyers beware! Please read. Purchased a 2002 vehicle with low miles from Peterson virtually (putting alot of trust into process and the dealer). The price I paid represented a v Purchased a 2002 vehicle with low miles from Peterson virtually (putting alot of trust into process and the dealer). The price I paid represented a very high price for the car but indicative of a car truly in excellent condition. I own multiple cars and track prices/trends from auctions. Was told the car was inspected (I think the inspection was they drove it around the parking lot) and in excellent condition. On the outside the car is in very good condition. Only problem is it has a cold start noise that has been diagnosed (I paid $200 for this) by a local Chevrolet dealer as bad lifters and a rod bearing problem...both of these basically mean the engine will break and needs to be totally replaced. I drove the car 300 miles from taking delivery (35 of which was driving it home from the delivery and about 10 miles to the dealership). I have the above in writing from the local Chevy dealer. Went to a second shop to confirm the issue and was told the same thing. Both shops these types of problems do not develop in short timeframes. Thus whoever traded the car most likely knew the engine would be toast. Talked with General Manager who immediately asked why I drove it 300 miles before calling them. I explained when one gets in the car, shuts the door, and puts radio on, you do not hear the noise (nor was I listening for a noise in the engine bay). I was lectured that is my problem. I further explained I first noticed the noise when I was outside of the vehicle talking with someone and thought the noise seemed abnormal. I then immediately informed Peterson Chevy and took the car to local Chevy dealer for diagnosis. General Manager at Peterson then hung up on me after repeated saying it was my fault and the car is a high performance car...really? What about sorry we sold you a car that has a bad engine that will cost you thousands to repair?? The dealer has NO facts or documentation other than the car was inspected and was fine. Also, my local Chevy dealer found the rear brake pads to be at 2mm (red zone area) so I guess the "inspection" did not include looking at the brakes either. Just a small example of something else missed during the "inspection". Perhaps this is my fault as well? The dealer got one over on me as legally I have no protection since the car is a 2002. One would hope a dealer would be ethical given the FACTS now available but they seem keen on blaming me for not noticing the noise sooner. Blaming the customer is always an indicative sign of how a business operates. Qucik to blame, light on facts and documentation. My advice to car buyers online and out of state, DO NOT buy from Peterson Chevy. Maybe I just got a bad car that someone traded in to unload it but the dealer could have made things right once the facts were documented from another Chevy dealer. Instead they took the unethical approach and told me to pound sand. My request was some financial assistance with engine replacement (repairs estimates range from $3k to $8k (new crate engine). Live and learn I guess. Peterson has my money and is done with me so I guess they won and I'm stuck with a worthless car. It's surprising they are a highly rated dealer (I actually went thru their ratings prior to purchase as part of my due diligence). Perhaps they do better with new car sales. Hopefully this review will help others that are thinking about buying a car virtually from Peterson. My advice is to stay far, far away because if you have a documented issue with the used car, Peterson will not stand behind what they sell - period. An engine with internal lifter and rod issues is a MAJOR problem. My other advice would be for anyone to be skeptical when doing business wih Peterson Chevy based on how I was treated by the General Manager who attacked me at the start of the converstation before listening to my documented and factual concerns. He had his "same old" excuses ready to go. It's a used car, you did not buy a warranty, etc. How about the dealer should not be selling cars with a ticking time bomb engine?? I hope this factual review will help consumers with their purchasing decisons. More
