Worth A Two Hour Drive! We found a few trucks we were interested in from Peterson Chevrolet on Cars.com. Being able to ask questions first online (through a live chat with Robin) was SO helpful, and we were given ranges for trade-in values on both of our vehicles. We can be slow at making decisions, and we're generally leery of car dealerships in general, but Robin putting us in contact with Gary Laming made the difference between us driving to Boise versus staying in Twin Falls. I think he could sense our apprehension, and he was very good at addressing our issues in a non-pushy manner. We made the 2 hour trek with both vehicles on a holiday and came home with the perfect truck for us! The experience at Peterson was the best we've ever had buying a vehicle. Gary was on the ball, with the truck ready for a test drive the moment we arrived, had the final numbers on our trades, and got us over to Terry Taylor in financing to finish all the paperwork. Terry is a gem...a totally rare find in any industry! He is open, he is kind, and he speaks from the bottom of his heart--if he didn't live 2 hours away, we would invite this guy to Christmas dinner. The paperwork was easy, and we told stories and laughed the whole way through. No one woke up with any buyers remorse, we'd do it all again in a heartbeat! Side note: We even got to see Mr. Peterson in his bright red tennis shoes, checking on business on Memorial Day...he was so cute I wanted to take him home... If you're in the market for a vehicle, I wholeheartedly recommend calling Gary Laming at Peterson and telling him what you're looking for. We were not disappointed, and it was well worth the two hour drive to get to Boise and back. More

Good buying experience. Stay away from service department. Purchasing the vehicle was a good experience. It was when we came back to get our first oil change. Took over an hour. Didn't even wash it. On top if it, my wife and I were sitting in the waiting room and nobody came out to tell us our vehicle was done. So we probably sat waiting more than we should have. I'd rather purchase my own oil and change it in under 30 minutes. Lastly, we were promised a $25 Walmart gift card and we never received it in the mail. Called the "service manager" and let him know about the issue and said it would be fixed but never received a response back. More

One more than one occasion, a lack of communication between the Sevice Rep and the Maintenance crew led to disappointment. The last incident was when I brought the Van in to repair a blown header gasket. The maintenance crew was going to replace only the one that blew on a '97 engine until a knowledgable friend warned me to replace both. On picking up the Van, I noticed a note buried in the comments that the belt was in 'poor' condition. I asked the Service Rep about it and she said she was not aware of the note. She did offer to replace the belt without a labor charge. When I finally picked up the Van, I discovered that the A/C was not delivering any air through the dash vents, a condition I had previously brought the van in to correct. Now I have no A/C with Summer coming! P.s. The survey didn't list 'Oldsmobile' in its list of Brands! More
