Airbag recall I took my 2001 BMW in to have the driver's side airbag replaced in accordance with the factory airbag recall effort. The passenger side airbag had al I took my 2001 BMW in to have the driver's side airbag replaced in accordance with the factory airbag recall effort. The passenger side airbag had already been replaced in California. I was initially told that the work would take an hour; however, when I arrived, I was told it would take less than that. I mentioned that the windshield fluid sprayers needed to be adjusted slightly and was promptly informed that would cost $70.00. I was absolutely shocked! In my 17 years of owning and maintaining this car, not once has ANY dealership EVER charged me for doing this adjustment. So, rather than being ripped off, I declined. I also wanted to verify that the car would be washed (as is customary with all BMW dealerships across the land); however, I was informed that to do so would take an additional hour. Once again, I was appalled and since I didn't have time to wait for 2 hours, I declined. After being at the dealership for less than 30 minutes, I was informed that my car was ready. I was surprised that it didn't take that long, but thankful that it didn't take the full hour to do the required work. So I informed the service tech that I would have time to wait the hour for the car wash. I sat there for an additional hour only to have the service tech come and inform me that they just could not get to my car to wash it. Once again, NEVER in all the years of owning this car has this EVER happened to me. All other BMW dealers have ALWAYS provided a courtesy car wash for their customers. Only after I get into my car to leave and begin to look over the paperwork did I discover that the driver's side airbag did NOT get replaced. The service tech never said one WORD about this being the case. He just informed me my car was all ready to go. I find it rather interesting that the passenger's side airbag WAS replaced during that recall effort. Logically, the driver's side airbag was placed into the car at roughly the same timeframe, I find it EXTREMELY interesting and, unfortunately, rather doubtful that Peterson BMW determined that the driver's side airbag was safe after all. Needless to say, this was one of the worst experiences I've ever had with any BMW dealership and I would NOT recommend them to my worst enemy. Very dissatisfied with the entire experience and will definitely NOT be purchasing another BMW - especially from this Boise, ID dealership. More

The service was conducted within the time frame we were told. The vehicle was returned to us freshly washed, even the floor mats. As this service was free of charge I won’t rate price below unless I can’t exit the form without such. More

He showed us the vehicles we wanted to see. He was super knowledgeable about BMWs and very personable and made us feel relaxed and comfortable right away. Well, we ended up purchasing a vehicle and would definitely recommend Jeremiah! More
Urgent unscheduled service I purchased my BMW from Chapman BMW, Chandler, AZ. Home dealer was Chapman BMW, they notified me that service interval had passed, "free service" war I purchased my BMW from Chapman BMW, Chandler, AZ. Home dealer was Chapman BMW, they notified me that service interval had passed, "free service" warranty was to expire in another week. I notified you (Peterson), although too late for a scheduled opening, I was told to bring it in and it would be done without an appointment. The car, BMW 650i, was serviced and I took it home on the same day. Thank you for courteous and considerate service. I have spoken to a few BMW owners since moving to Boise, feedback has been universally positive regarding Peterson BMW and my experience reinforces the opinions. ‘06 X5 4.4i We sprinted down to Sacramento to take advantage of a great deal on an ‘06 BMW X5 4.4i with the intention of getting it inspected. Time ran out and we We sprinted down to Sacramento to take advantage of a great deal on an ‘06 BMW X5 4.4i with the intention of getting it inspected. Time ran out and we bought ‘Babs’ without a diagnostic inspection. Jake took her in, inspected her thoroughly and gave us a prioritized list of repairs based on need and budget. Communication was timely and accurate and the work done was performed quickly leaving us with an ultimate driving experience for a great price. Thank you Jake. More
