Ryan at Peterson BMW is the consummate professional, of course, but also always enjoyable to catch up with, even or maybe especially when my wait time is twice as long as expected due to additional work I course, but also always enjoyable to catch up with, even or maybe especially when my wait time is twice as long as expected due to additional work I elected to do. The only downside is that the explosive surge in auto sales has left the lot devoid of interesting things to ogle, except for the already sold black-on-black M4 sitting in the showroom. I hope nobody notice the drool I left... More

People were nice but tried to do maintenance tasks 5000 miles early ( $479 spark plug change?). Every time I go into this dealership I feel like I’m being scammed. You advertise specials for something like miles early ( $479 spark plug change?). Every time I go into this dealership I feel like I’m being scammed. You advertise specials for something like oil changes on your website but I have to tell your service people about it and either print it out or email it to them and it’s not even a coupon I had to screenshot it. Also, BMW is supposed to be a luxury dealership, I have an $85k M model car and I don’t get a loaner car I get a shuttle, my car is not washed when I pick it up, and it doesn’t seem like like the service people know their cars. Also, great idea with the service technician doing a visual with a camera, but the person that did mine was half-xxxxx and very poorly done. It didn’t give me any confidence he did a thorough job. If you would like to see what he sent me please contact me. I have owned an X5 and now an X3M and will have another X5M soon and if I had a choice to go somewhere else I would take that option. I expect better from a dealership that sells cars like BMW. You need to take a trip to other dealerships and take notes and up your game. One positive is that your people smile when they look down on you like you don’t know what your talking about… please call me if you want to have a chat. Oh, and one last thing, when your people say they are going to send a quote for tires that they commented needed to be replaced, make sure they send the quote. I’m still waiting…. More

I’m sure most people in the market for a new or used car are aware that the car market is unbelievable at this time. Inventory is low across the nation which pushed me to look nationwide when trying to find the perfect vehicle. I searched for months, I had patience and waited until I found the perfect x7 that checked all my boxes. I was beyond thrilled, the only hold up was the vehicle was in Boise and I live in Dallas. However, after several conversations, texts, photos, and lots of reassurance from Colby (the salesman I worked with) that the vehicle had been thoroughly inspected by their BMW technicians and that the dealership has been in the business of selling cars for over 90 years and not by doing bad business (verbatim what Colby said.) I felt comfortable enough to follow through with the purchase. I flew into Boise and picked up the 2019 x7 with only 19,000 miles on the odometer. I was stoked and ready to drive the 1,600 miles cross country, through the mountains of Wyoming and Colorado, ice, and rain… all by myself, a mother of two young children. This x7 is my dream car and I was excited to have my kids in it as I felt safe and secure due to the larger size and the additional safety features the vehicle offered. Once I returned home, apprehension started to set in… first my husband noticed the constant screeching sounds when braking and then he noticed that the air conditioner wouldn’t cool. I didn’t notice the braking issues however I chalk that up to “love is blind” lol and I was in a hurry to get home. As for the air conditioner, I didn’t need that until returning to Dallas as the temperatures up north were still quite chilly. I picked up the car on May 11th, returned home May 12th. My husband took the x7 to our BMW service center on June 23rd (we’ve had a 10year relationship with our local dealership.) My car is STILL in the service department… today is July 18th! The recirculating air flap housing was faulty and needs to be replaced AND the brake pads were so worn down that the service department director will not let us take the car back due to liability of the vehicles condition… the brake pads are that bad… on top of that the brake pads are on back order with no ETA. Now the part that I’m absolutely LIVID about is that fact that Colby let me drive away with a car that needed new brake pads, knowing that I would be going cross country through mountains and ice. In addition to that, driving my two young children through one of the busiest metroplex in the nation. I reached out to Colby July 12th expressing my disappointment and shame on him. He responded by saying “I will be looking into this for you with our General Sales Manager and my Service Manager.” It’s been a full week and I haven’t heard a single word from anyone at the dealership. Again, shame on you, I feel it’s my duty to warn as many people as possible of your unethical business practices. You put lives at risk to make a sell. Shame on you! More
