During the trip to Boise, a rock hit one of the Laser head lights, cracking it. Visiting Peterson BMW’s the service department Saturday, March 2, a nice young man greeted me asking what he could help me with? When he determined I needed a technical he asked Brad to help me. Brad explained the need to replace the lens assembly and that it needed to be ordered. Then he asked if I had any further questions about my recent purchase of our X-5 plug-in? Telling Brad I had some questions about the vehicle. He took the time to teach me so much new information about our X-5. Short summation, the Boise valley is very fortunate to have Brad and Peterson BMW to look after their BMW’s. A thakful Army Veteran who could not have been treated better by a Proud Marine. More
Working with Peterson BMW was one of the best dealership experiences I’ve had in 25 years. Everyone was very kind and knowledgeable, I left feeling like I really got the best service from their service depa experiences I’ve had in 25 years. Everyone was very kind and knowledgeable, I left feeling like I really got the best service from their service department. Even the manager Jeff was willing to spend some time explaining things in a way I could understand and was the kindest person I’ve worked with in many years. I will be referring everyone I know to Peterson BMW service. More
I am writing this review about an issue I encountered with Peterson BMW in Boise, Idaho. Recently, we purchased a Toyota Highlander from them and unfortunately, the management team and experience was with Peterson BMW in Boise, Idaho. Recently, we purchased a Toyota Highlander from them and unfortunately, the management team and experience was atrocious. In June 2023, we bought a Toyota Highlander from Peterson BMW at market value. They gave us the Carfax and Maintenance history, assuring us that the car was clean and issue-free. However, during our first oil change at Peterson Toyota in December 2023, they mentioned a Timing Cover leak that had been highlighted during an inspection in April 2023 by the previous owner. This is approximately $4665.62 to repair. We returned to Peterson BMW to request a copy of the inspection from when they acquired the car from the previous owner. The inspection revealed the leaking Timing Cover, flagged as "failed" in red. We had two phone conversations with the manager, Sam Whipple, which were recorded as evidence of their handling of the situation and their stance. Sam couldn’t respond to my question when asked if this practice of knowing of major failed items on an inspection, and misleading customers to believe otherwise, is something he supports. He went on to defend the sales team. Peterson BMW was fully aware of the $4665.62 problem before purchasing the car from previous owner and likely obtained it at a price significantly below market value knowing the Timing Cover failed. Instead of fixing the issue, they misled us to believe that everything was in great condition, siting specifically how well the car maintenance history was and repeating that they inspect all cars prior to listing them on the lot . They sold the car to us at market value. I have a hard time believing that the Peterson family would support this kind of treatment of one of Peterson Toyota’s repeat customers. I do all of my three car’s maintenance at Peterson Toyota consistently. Peterson BMW is refusing to take responsibility for their actions. I believe it is necessary for them to take accountability and/or to be held accountable. Please, beware before purchasing. More
My husband and I ordered a 2024 BMW X5 from this dealership. James Brandner was our sales guy. He was amazing to work with and kept us updated the whole way as to when our car would arrive. My husba dealership. James Brandner was our sales guy. He was amazing to work with and kept us updated the whole way as to when our car would arrive. My husband told James that he would like to surprise me when our BMW came in. James made sure that everyone in the dealership kept a tight lip every time we were in there about the surprise. James asked us to come back to the dealership because there was a problem with our financing and we just needed to straighten it out. Well, he had my new BMW all wrapped in a bow with balloons and even had the car’s name written on a balloon. So very special!!! A day I will never forget because of all of the special touches that James did to make the presentation a fun surprise. Thank you to James and to all of the others in on the surprise to make this an unforgettable experience. More
I requested a test drive of a 2015 M235i with the Lexus salesperson for Saturday April 30th as the car was a trade-in for a Lexus. I offered to take off work early on Friday the 29th to get on it as I kne salesperson for Saturday April 30th as the car was a trade-in for a Lexus. I offered to take off work early on Friday the 29th to get on it as I knew this car would go fast. I was told by the salesperson the car wouldn't be ready to show until the next day. So I scheduled a 10am test drive on Saturday. Showed up test drove the car and fell in love with it. When I got back the salesperson was frantic and said the car I just tested out and really liked sold last night and that the owners where there to pick-up their car. I was shocked, here I was told I wouldn't be able to see it on Friday I asked to test drive it on Friday at 11am....well, I was more than put off. So I'm walking back to my car pissed off and a BMW Salesman, Michael Jenkins, asked, "How are you doing" I said, "I'm (choice word) pissed off". He asked why that was and I told him what just transpired. Though I wasn't in a good mood I let him show me a couple of cars. He wasn't pushy, he suggested a loaded 2020 230i. I did like the look and took him up on a test drive. I liked the ride. So I traded my 2015 328i. One week into the 230i and I'm happy with my purchase. Michael Jenkins was great all the way through the process, not pushy and very personable, I'd recommend him to anyone looking to purchase a BMW. The same goes for the finance guy, Dan Rodriquez, very personable. This is the second time I've purchased a BMW with Peterson's and have had great experiences both times. As for the Lexus salesperson and the m235i, things happen and I know they were more than mortified by the mix-up. Michael and Dan turned the day around! Great job. More

$175 for an oil change and no car wash after the service work was completed. But there is a voucher for a car wash I was told, after receiving no voucher after picking up the vehicle. Seems like a very poor work was completed. But there is a voucher for a car wash I was told, after receiving no voucher after picking up the vehicle. Seems like a very poor value as I could have done the oil change myself with full synthetic for over $100 less. I went to the dealer to try to preserve the CPO status of the vehicle. I understand there is general cost/overhead to account for but $175 still seems rather excessive for this basic service. The general admin of the dealership is friendly and helpful. The service department will pretend like they are on your side but are generally just interested in bilking you for as much money as possible. More
