I was in the market for a new Honda Pilot and went in to Peters Honda for a test drive. Chris Cannata was the sales person I worked with at Peters. At that time I was still trying to decide between a Pilot and a Highlander so he explained all the advantages of the Pilot without necessarily bashing the Highlander. He encouraged me to do my research and suggested a few useful links. Once I decided to go with a Pilot I called a few dealerships to get prices. Chris was willing to work with me on price and was finally able to offer me a really good price. A couple of other dealerships came close on price and were closer to where I lived. However, since I had a positive experience at Peters when I went in for the test drive I decided to go back there to buy my car. Here are the aspects that I really liked which made my car buying experience so pleasant: 1) No pressure tactics to sell me a car or any add-ons 2) No added charges once I went into the dealership. The price that Chris gave me over the phone was the final price when I went in 3) Great customer service both before and after I had purchased 4) Very competitive on price I had a really positive experience overall and would highly recommend Peters Honda and especially Chris Cannata. In need of a new vehicle, I did like most folks do and fired up my computer. I was quickly able to research what I was looking for, and with a click, request quotes from a half dozen dealers in the area. fired up my computer. It gave me a good starting point, and soon other quotes arrived as well. While all the quotes were within a few hundred dollars of each other, the real difference was seen when I actually visited each dealership. My overall experience with the folks at Peters was excellent. I had done my homework, Consumer Reports, Edmund's, etc., and compared different makers, models, and trim-lines. When I arrived at each dealership I was ready to ask one question. "What is your best offer?" Only Cheryl Tinkham at Peters answered that question with a print out of her invoice for the car, a clear statement about cash back from Honda, and the amount of the dealer holdback. She then told me that there was a document fee (all dealers have them) and exactly how much that would be. I had it. The exact price that they would sell the car for. I told her I wanted to look at other dealers as I had other quotes from places I had yet to visit. I braced myself for the hard sell of "now or never", but what I got was "O.K., but when you have seen them all, please let me know what your best offer is so that we might try to see if we can earn your business." After a half dozen dealer visits, earn my business they did! Sales Consultant, Ron Stella walked me through the process, and while offering extras and add-ons, never applied pressure for me to do more that I wanted to do. When I arrived to pick the car up, it was ready, looking great, and Ron went over every feature and answered all my questions. I would strongly recommend this dealership and these people to anyone looking for a new Honda. They were the lowest pressure, politest, most respectful dealership I visited, and we worked out a really good deal. So do your homework. Look around for the best price, but give Peters the chance to earn your business. I think they will, and I think you will be very happy!! More

They also gave me the price I asked for the new car and for my trade in and there was no haggling over and over. The support staff also did whatever they needed to do to make the experience pleasant. I recently bought 2 cars from Peters Honda in Nashua NH. I e-mailed all the Honda Car Dealers in NH and Herb Chambers and a few others in Ma. for their lowest up front deals on 2 new Honda Civics and Peters I e-mailed all the Honda Car Dealers in NH and Herb Chambers and a few others in Ma. for their lowest up front deals on 2 new Honda Civics and Peters gave us the lowest up front deals... they made very reasonable deals and Chris Canatta was the sales rep who made the process of getting the cars and absolute pleasure. This was by far the best car buying experience I have ever had and Chris and the Peters staff did a great job. Don't buy any where else, because you won't get the best deal. More
On Valentine's Day, my husband and I decided to stop at Peter's Honda to check out the Civic and the Fit. It was a half hour after their closing time, but Salesman Gary did not let that stop him from show Peter's Honda to check out the Civic and the Fit. It was a half hour after their closing time, but Salesman Gary did not let that stop him from showing us highlights of the two cars, and putting plates on the Fit Sport and letting us take it for a test drive. Just a few days before, we had test drove a competitor model at a different dealership, and the salesman did not know the answer to any of the questions we were asking, and had to wait until we were out of the car to read to us the sticker information printed on the outside. So it was very refreshing when during the test drive of the Honda Fit, Gary took that opportunity to tell us about all the features of the car: air bags, frame, mileage, etc. He was extremely knowledgeable on all the Honda models. It was the safety features that Gary explained that sold it for us. We didn't end up leaving the dealership until 2 hours after close, on Valentine's Day, and Gary, the Manager, and the Finance person were all available to help us with this sale (I even saw a bouquet of flowers on the Manager's desk that he was bringing home to his wife, but waited for us to be sure we were happy with our experience). We were so impressed with their level of dedication to sale of one of their automobiles. When we picked up the car, it was clean, had an inspection sticker, full tank of gas, and a tempoary plate. All we had to do was drive away. We had such a great experience and would recommend this dealership and Gary to all our friends! More
I was in the market for a Honda Civic LX in January. I got numerous quotes from all the big MA dealers (Boch, Bernardi, Herb, etc) online and visited their showrooms to talk pricing. I was not very satisfied with their pushy sales tactics and lack of commitment to pricing. Eventually I decided to look a little further from home and found Peters Honda in Nashua. I talked to Chris by e-mail and then came in to the showroom at the end of the month - we were able to work out a price that was very competitive and the process was much less of a hassle than the other guys. They also charge a bit less on the doc fees than the other guys, which was a nice bonus. A very positive experience overall. More

GARY WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE, FRIENDLY AND MORE IMPORTANTLY A REGU BUT I HAVE TO SAY WORKING WITH GARY TULCHINSKY HAS BEEN ONE OF THE MOST ENJOYABLE! GARY WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE, FRIENDLY AND MORE IMPORTANTLY A REGULAR GUY. TALKING TO HIM WAS LIKE TALKING TO A NEW FOUND FRIEND. Prior to going to the showroom, I got excellent service from salesman, Chris Cannata and Xan Peterson. They answered all my questions honestly and in a very timely manner whether thru phone calls and/or emails. I had shopped around to 2 other dealers and got a better price elsewhere. I contacted Peters and they beat the price by $6/month, and now I'm driving a new 2009 Pilot!! Ray in financing was also great! I was happy to continue business with them, as my husband purchased a Ridgeline in June 2008 with them. The entire process was friendly, quick and hassle free, quality service without the stereo-typical car salesman pushy-ness. I can't say enough good things about Chris Cannata! I will tell everyone I know to go to Peters, they can't be beat....great people, and great prices. Thanks to Peters I now have a new outlook on car shopping. More

They did not even offer to show me anything in the car. I got much better service at Peter's Nissan, the salespeople there seemed truely interested in me and my needs for a new vehicle. More
