Within most possible short amount of time, we test drive, finish paperwork, and get the exact car we want at a reasonable price. Bob is highly recommended. Thanks! More
I take my BMW cars to Peter Pan BMW for service all the time. Over all I have been pretty satisfied with them. The best service adviser is Mr. Kenny Lew. He is very courteous, he patiently listen to you wh time. Over all I have been pretty satisfied with them. The best service adviser is Mr. Kenny Lew. He is very courteous, he patiently listen to you while you describe the problem, he is very polite and very friendly. He does not rush you or give a hand gesture as you should hurry up, I need to get to my next customer, as I have seen this type of behavior from other service adviser ( to be remained anonymous). In general, Kenny really takes care of you and your car. It is good to know him in this establishment. More
Even though I purchased both my current BMWs; a 2007 328i Sedan and 2008 535xi Sports Wagon from different dealers pre-owned, with different warranty programs, my service experience with Peter Pan has been e Sedan and 2008 535xi Sports Wagon from different dealers pre-owned, with different warranty programs, my service experience with Peter Pan has been excellent. Okay, I once had a complaint that my loaner car was pretty dirty; so I had to clean the windshield on my fully optioned,335i free loaner car all by myself. Perhaps I was being a little "testy" that day, due to events unrelated to my loaner car. After all, the reason for my visit was a free scheduled service that Jordan, at Peter Pan, reminded me to have done. Again, did I mention for free? I bought my first new BMW in 1998 in Las Vegas. But it seems that the BMW experience, for me at least, has been a positive one ever since. Sales people are sales people. However, BMW sales seems a cut above, and care about their product. Service and Parts have always been helpful, knowledgeable, and responsive. I have the N54(the supposedly notoriously unreliable)engine in one of my cars. My doctor, and his wife have the same engine in both of their cars. My dealer fixed mine with very little discussion at the first sign of discontent, and the doctor and his wife have had no problem. If we own BMWs I hope that it is because we appreciate pushing the driving experience to a higher level of enjoyment, engineering innovation, safety, and value. There are a plethora of inexpensive forms of transportation that do not require a lot of cognitive interaction with either people or the machines. Life is choices. I choose the BMW experience. But to address the constant complainers, I have found that conversations with intelligent people generally move forward faster when there is more light and less heat. More
One is minor and basically an annoyance but I think it's a telltale sign that the dealer is not very careful. I was searching for 6 speed manual transmission cars and found several listed by Peter Pan. Afte a telltale sign that the dealer is not very careful. I was searching for 6 speed manual transmission cars and found several listed by Peter Pan. After I looked through them, I found that all of them are actually automatic. I want to believe that this is not an act of fraud but in that case, it just shows their carelessness. If they can't even be careful about something as important as transmission when they list the car in their own ads or listings, how do they conduct business is questionable. In some cases, they may even use pictures unrelated to the actual car which I think is misleading. The other thing really is their arrogance in doing business. I was considering buying a car with European Delivery as a potential option but the salesperson I talked to acted all pompous and disinterested when I mentioned that I may want to delay the delivery in consideration of winter. He also had this "if I don't make a killing on a deal, I don't want to waste my time talking to you" attitude which I found offending. More
Based on previous reviews on this and some others web sites I almost decide to go somewhere else to have my 328i's scheduled service done. Since this dealer is very convenient to my home I decided to sti sites I almost decide to go somewhere else to have my 328i's scheduled service done. Since this dealer is very convenient to my home I decided to still go there, besides I checked for th first available appointment in other dealerships and this was the one with less than 48 hours wait. I went there and even after making a mistake on the time of my appintment (I showed up 40 minutes late) I had to wait only a few minutes. Starting with the car in taker, the receptionist and Mr Kenny Low EVERYBODY was extremely friendly, professional and helpful. The car was done in less than 2 hours, they washed it for me, and they did not try to sell me anything or pay to fix anything, all covered by wonderful BMW's service plan. Finally, I read some comments that they woud treat you badly if you ont look like a buyer or extremely wealthy person, well, I went ery erly in the morning, in my sports attire, sweat pants and T-shirt, nothing fancy nor expensive, no jewerly nor any sign of my status, and they still treated me very well, like a appreciatedcustomer, nothing less of what I have been used at BMW. I just moved from Florida while they were nice and good there as well,I definitely don't miss them and I will come back to Peter Pan. Great service and experience More
There was a flaw on the door panel of our brand new X3 (bought in Mountain View because the salesperson at Peter Pan only offered a $500 discount from sticker). We did not bring it in until the first serv (bought in Mountain View because the salesperson at Peter Pan only offered a $500 discount from sticker). We did not bring it in until the first service a year later. The flaw had gotten worse and we were told they would not cover it because it was due to the seatbelt hitting it.(?) They refused to acknowledge that this flaw was clearly a manufacturing issue and never replaced the door panel. We were fought on every (only three) attempt to get any defects on the vehicle worked out. I echo the many people that dislike this service department. They never had a BMW for us to drive, I always had to rent from the Enterprise desk in the dealership and PAY for the car they rented to me. I have been treated better at our local Toyota dealer. Only reason visited Peter Pan is service and location... Send my car in for service ( under warranty) and informed service advisor of the problem, have to pay for part which is not covered, no problem but Send my car in for service ( under warranty) and informed service advisor of the problem, have to pay for part which is not covered, no problem but the issue still exist. Informed service advisor of the issue, was requested to return to the dealership that same day. After checking with service technician, I was informed that it was okay... drove my car about 1000 feet, along El Camino Real (intersection at Hillsdale) the issue still exist. Telephone service advisor, no response, only thing to do is to leave a message. It has since 2 weeks, no return call....problem still exist even though I had to pay. Left another message to service advisor today (4-8-08, 3:15pm) Still awaiting for return call! More
They act like they are doing you a huge favor to service your car, instead of treating you like a valued customer. They are arrogant and not at all helpful. I bought my car from them and would rather take i your car, instead of treating you like a valued customer. They are arrogant and not at all helpful. I bought my car from them and would rather take it to the gas station on the corner than let them touch it again. I have written to tell them of my experience and give them a chance to make it right; they have never bothered to respond, which is a response in itself. More
I use this dealer for scheduled maintenance on my 04 330CiC (and soon my 07 335i when it's due for service). Never a problem to get a scheduled appointment, and it's close to work. The shuttle servi 330CiC (and soon my 07 335i when it's due for service). Never a problem to get a scheduled appointment, and it's close to work. The shuttle service is convenient, and for major inspections, an Enterprise rental is arranged. And I don't insist on a new BMW replacement car, as I would only drive it 5 miles roundtrip. More
IT was the worst experience I had ever bad. Does not even deserve a star on the rating. I was shopping with my friend for a BMW 3 series. So we went down to dealship. first. we try to ask him to tell us som deserve a star on the rating. I was shopping with my friend for a BMW 3 series. So we went down to dealship. first. we try to ask him to tell us something good about the car, he said, every thing. everything is good. What a answer. very helpless, to me, it seems that guy has not be trainned. so no instruction on the car, before we test drive it, he come straight to the price, he is wonder if he can sell us the car today. HELLO, WE DID NOT EVEN SEE IN INTERIOR OF THE CAR, NOR TEST DRIVE. What is in his mind? just try to force us to get the car? DAh....after test drive, we friend doesn't like it for some reason.
