He took the time to talk through what my needs in a vehicle were and didn't only focus on a trying to closing a sale. I would like to be clear that my "Excellent" rating is solely based on my experience with Gregory Blanks. Luiz Fernandez on the other hand was the rudest salesman my husband and I have ever dealt with. He started off by putting down our last car purchase choice, as a sales tactic I guess, to get us to buy a Toyota. He then continued on by only focusing only what price would get us in a car that day. He outright laughed at what our "we would buy a car today for price" and was very demeaning in how he spoke with us. We gave Luiz a number that my husband and both felt comfortable making that day and told him anything over that number we would have to go home and talk about. Luiz didn't hear any of that and pushed and pushed to make a sale. He finally came back after 2+ hours of going back and forth and had a huge smile on his face and stuck his hand out saying "Congrats, you're going home in a new car today!" The number he came back with was still a lot higher than we were comfortable with and we reiterated to him again that anything higher than what we agreed upon we would have to go home and talk about. I'm not exaggerating when I say it was like we took a toy away from a 5 year old. He acted like we completely offended him by not taking his offer. My husband went to shake his hand to say thank you as we got up to leave and Luiz very clearly didn't want to shake his hand. Luiz reluctantly shook his hand but didn't say another word. We left very hurriedly because of the uncomfortable situation Luiz created. As we were in the car driving away we received a call from Ethan saying he noticed us leaving in a rush and wanted to check in because typically that signaled that something was wrong. We explained the situation to Ethan and he apologized and said he could get us to where we wanted to be and asked if would we still be willing to work with them. We agreed but stated that in no way would we work with Luiz again. The next day I went back to finalize the car purchase and worked with Greg only. To my surprise Luiz came up to me and congratulated me on my car purchase. I was completely baffled by him approaching me because it clearly meant that Ethan had not spoken with him about how we were treated the day before and no action had been taken in regards to how he treated a customer. Luiz's behavior was completely unacceptable and his condescending attitude was not appreciated. Gregory's excellent customer service and Ethan calling us to check in after we left are the only reasons we bought a car that day and if it were based on Luiz's behavior only I would tell everyone I knew not to go there. More
