After a week at the beach, I was returning home to Kentucky on a Saturday morning with my family when I became concerned about an odd noise coming from under the hood of our RAV4. Since we still had 12 hours of driving ahead of us, I thought it wise to have it checked at a dealership. My heart sank when I pulled into Legacy Toyota just prior to 8am and saw a long line of cars waiting for the service department to open. I was wondering if I'd be spending an extra night in Florida. Fortunately, we were greeted by Chuck Browning while we were still waiting in line. He reassured me that they were accustomed to handling this kind of volume and they would be able to get us serviced. It didn't take long for them to come back with a diagnosis: we needed repairs to the water pump. Chuck laid out a timetable and assured us we would be able to get back on the road. Since we had some down time he made arrangements for a courtesy car to transport us out for an early lunch. Our service was completed shortly after we returned and we were able to complete our trip home that day.
