Service or lack there of.. I went in to get an alignment on my 2005 Chrysler 300 with 58,000 miles on it at Pete Moore Volkswagen. It was taken right back, but about an hour lat I went in to get an alignment on my 2005 Chrysler 300 with 58,000 miles on it at Pete Moore Volkswagen. It was taken right back, but about an hour later the service advisor came and told me the car will still pull just like it did before because it needed RF Inner and LF Outer tie rod ends and two new front tires. Then told me that I could go to the cashier to pay for the alignment. First of all, why did I have to pay for an alignment when the car is not aligned? OK, maybe tried to do an alignment (even though they shouldn't have because they were suppose to "Check steering, suspension and shocks. Check tie-rods and ball joints. Check tire pressure and inspect tires for cuts, damage, and uneven wear." Every other place I have been in the last 40 years would not do an alignment on a car that needed something done for the alignment to be effective. More

Irregardless what t While a (very) few names (Service Advisors) may have changed over the last 20 years, the outstanding service @ Pete Moore has not! Irregardless what type of car, major/minor repairs, scheduled mtc or "warranty" work - the Service Department @ Pete Moore in Pensacola has consistently been EXCELLENT!! I thought it was largely due to "my" Svc Advisor, whom I worked with for over a decade. But when he had to leave for medical reasons - Jay Rosenfeld - who also remembered and knew me from coming in - immediately stepped in to take care of me. These guys and this entire department are just exceptional, straight forward, friendly and "cool"! You feel like "family" while checking in & out. No surprises or confusion here. Everything is explained in a simple, easy manner. I "used" to shop around, compare prices. And when I did their estimates, parts, etc. were always better. But the REAL VALUE and Deal, however, is "what they do and how they do it" (very thorough). It's hard to describe or explain, but they are simply "different". And better. They "catch" (see) things before they get costly, or dangerous, or leave you stranded. One unnecessary part, repair, etc. - which seemed to always be the case elsewhere - never occurs here. Sometimes they do find additional issues while working on my car, which is what I want them to do, but will always call first to discuss. They don't try to "scare" you or pressure you (nickel & dime you with add ons) into doing additional or unnecessary service. They are not "selling", which many other shops, dealers, etc. definitely do. They focus on the problem, reason you first went there for. And FIX IT - the first time! Again - no surprises here. They do what they say. Communication is superb. Service is outstanding. You won't need the Manager, Mike Kern, but he is always close by, and accessible. Mike is positive, upbeat, always smiling.....and it rubs off into/onto the entire department. These guys are such a "pleasure" to deal and work with, they make "having to go & fix your car" even Fun!! I simply can not say enough about this Svc Department and everyone who works there. Go there and you will immediately "see" (and feel) the same!! A.J. Ordoyne More
Horrible service On April the 5th I could not get my car to crank, so I knew a diagnoses was needed. On April 9th 2018 I had my 2010 Volk Wagon CC towed into Pete Moore imports. In the past, I had great experiences with Pete Moore sales. I purchased my first car from this store. And many of my family members has done business with Pete Moore dealership as well. However this experience was alot different then before. I called the service center an spoke with a service representative named Codi. Whom explained that it would be a two week wait for a diagnoses on my car. After a week and a half I got a call from Codi. And he explained that the mechanic would have to take a more indept look into my engine and it would cost three-hundred and some odd dollars. I accepted the expense an waited. However a week later I got a call from Codi explaining that something was problematic in my engine. However he didnt know what. And it would cost over five thousand dollars to fix. He explained that he would give me more details after he get the mechanic closer look at engine. After almost 4 weeks of waiting with Pete Moore. An still without a clear diagnoses of what was worng with my vechile. I suggested that replacing the engine would be cheaper then repairing the broke one. An I researched the price for a replacement. Codi explained that he would price it for me. Judging by his tone I clearly got the impression that he didnt want to. Not to my surprise, while listening to voicemail that Codi left me. He explained that it will still be over five-thousand dollars to replace my engine. Because he wouldn't replace the engine unless there is a warranty on it. When I explained in the opening that my family had been long time fans of the Pete Moore dealership, I was serious. My mother had to have a engine replaced at Pete Moore an she did not have to have a warranty. And after speaking with friends that's had major repairs done at Pete Moore. None of them had to have a warranty on there imported vehicles. At this point I could clearly see that Codi an Pete Moore had know interest in my business. So I called Codi Wednesday and explained that I will come in on Saturday 4/28 and make the payment to retrieve my vehicle. Saturday 4/28 I was asked to pay 119.00. without even so much as a diagnoses. After the vehicle was dropped off on Saturday 4/28. I opened the door to my back seat. An discovered my engine dripping in oil on my leather seats. At this point i am livid. This is not the dealership that I use to know. I will not encourage anyone to do business with Pete Moore. And a great deal of people are disappointed in the way I was treated. Shame on Pete Moore for losing it core focus. Which is the customers. It will cost me more money to put my car back together that was scrapped by this dealership. I have pictures of how your service people left my car. Torn up an scrapped. I have now filed a vandalism claims with my insurance companies. The car was left just that bad. More

Best Customer Experience Ever! We purchase a VW TDI wagon about six years ago. Mark Torelli sold it to us. We recommended family members and two of them also bought from him. Mark m We purchase a VW TDI wagon about six years ago. Mark Torelli sold it to us. We recommended family members and two of them also bought from him. Mark made our experience a pure pleasure. That was years ago. Recently, we went through the emissions recall process which we weren't initially looking forward to. However, all of the online correspondence and set up was impeccable. They kept in touch with us and clearly communicated every step. When we brought our car in for the emissions install, the entire staff couldn't have been nicer - Mike Kern, Cory and we don't recall the short red-headed guy's name, but him too! (Hope we haven't left out anyone.) As if that wasn't good enough, Mark also reached out to offer any assistance we needed through the emissions install process. We love our VW and we will tell everyone about the fantastic, professional experience we have had with this dealership. Keep up the good work! We will be back! More

I then cont Took my new Passat SEL in for warranty repairs. I was treated like I had never driven a car before and none of the issues were repaired. I then contacted VW who also said the flaws in the car were unrepairable and essentially I was stuck with a $32K car with flaws and I had no options other than to repair it myself at my own expense. Bottom line-there is no bumper to bumper warranty on VW either from dealer or company. More

I went back because I knew what I wanted and a friend refered me to a particular salesman and he was great, Mike. Had a problem with a speaker right from the go, and this was a brand new Outlander. It had 1 recall after I had it for 4 months and I mentioned the speaker. It was confirmed that I needed a new one. A month went by when I scheduled my first oil change and I mentioned the speaker...'Oh, yeah we've had it here for a month'. Nobody called to update me. This was totally unprofessional and I made it known while I scheduled the oil change AND the speaker replacement. As I check my car in, service guy looks at me and said, so you won't be waiting. ......what???? 'It says you're dropping the vehicle off'. No, I'm not, I never said that, where am I suppose to go! I asked him if they even communicate around here....no answer. I ask if he has a ballpark time of service, nope. This is unbelievable....and I was actually going to go across the street to Pete Moore Chevrolet and trade the Outlander for a truck......not at that Dealership, they've shown their colors now! More

Was told tech taking it for test drive after oil change & would call me back. No call back so drove to dealership at 1:30 & was told they hadn't started on the recall issue & it would be another 2 hours. Asked for manager who apologized & said it should have been done but he didn't know why not. I asked for & got the oil change free & told it would be ready by 3 :00 pm. They obviously are overbooking. Very disappointed at such poor customer service. More
