No such thing as an appointment I purchased a 2018 Ram 2500 from this dealer. I would say the purchase side of the dealership is top notch and I would give them a 5 rating. Twice I’ve dealt with the service department and same experience each time. First time, had a 9:00 appointment to have a minor recall item addressed. On arrival, I was advised I could pick my vehicle up around 4:00. I was astounded. I advised them that I had an appointment and was told that an appointment was basically a time to show up and get in line and they would get to it when they finished with however many were ahead of me. Apparently the word appointment has a different meaning to them than it does to me. After explaining that I drove over an hour to be there for my supposed appointment and asking to see the service manager, they “moved me up” and had the work done by about noon. The second time I tried to make an appointment for 15000 mile service and was given an appointment time. Not wanting a repeat of the previous experience, I asked how long they thought it might take and was told “it depends how many people are ahead of you”. I went to a different Dodge dealer and had no problem with scheduling an appointment and being seen on time. I would have preferred to service my vehicle at the place I purchased it, but I’ll never go back there again. More

I spent almost $5,000 on a lifetime warranty for my RAM 1500, which I bought here. My truck is now 2 1/2 years old with 24k miles. I keep the truck in a garage. So, low miles and sheltered storage. It should look brand new. Imagine my surprise when I discovered the chrome side steps that I bought and had installed at Perkins Motors when I purchased the truck (another $700) are already popping, rusting and blistering. Worse yet, it appears you only cover Mopar parts for two years, and not on the Lifetime Warranty timeline. So, I'm out of pocket if I want to upkeep my truck and not look all raggedy (which is important to me)....Did I mention the $5,000 Lifetime Warranty and $700 part and installation fee's that aren't helping? A bit frustrating. More

I dropped the car off; all of the warranty information and recall was available...no need to repeat information. 10 minutes later I was on the road with the loaner. I received a call from Flint that afternoon that the car was ready and that they had troubleshot a potential problem at length without determining the issue; however, if I wanted them to troubleshoot further to please meet with the service manager the next day (I chose to wait for a later time). When I picked the car up, it was brought to me very quickly and there were no issues returning the loaner. Even though Flint was off-work, an alternate advisor quickly provided everything I needed to get me on my way back to work. More

All new Jeep vehicles receive up to four oil changes and tire rotations as part of the Jeep Wave program so this service was provided at no cost to me. It took about 90 minutes for the service to be complete and my Jeep was pulled out onto the exit lane. I was handed the receipt (no charge) and was on my way. On getting home I looked under the hood and saw oil spilled all over the oil filter housing, engine cover and oil was pooled in the hollows of the intake manifold. The next morning when I backed the Jeep out of the garage there was a 16" puddle of oil on the garage floor. Looking under the vehicle there was oil dripping off the entire front half of the undercarriage. Both cross members and front drive shaft were soaked and dripping, and oil covering everything back to the gas tank skid plate. The next day that the dealer was open, I took the Jeep in and pointed out all the spills to the same service advisor, he apologized and said that they would clean it up. After about 15 minutes I was told the vehicle was ready, however all I could see under the vehicle was dripping water. The next day the oil drips were all gone but the oil film remained on the under carriage. So it appeared that the oil spills were hosed off with water. Based on this unpleasant experience I wanted to verify the lug nut torque values so opened the jack cover to get my locking lug nut key, it was used as part of the tire rotation. Now the key was nowhere to be found, so off to the dealer for visit number three. The same service advisor again apologized and went looking in the shop for the key. He returned a few minutes later bearing the "lost" lug nut key. On arriving home I checked all lug nuts for the specified torque value of 130 ft-lbs. All non-locking lug nuts required at least 90 degrees of rotation to reach the specified torque value and the locking lug nuts were only hand tight. Each locking lug nut required at least one full turn to reach proper torque. Given my experiences, I was not going to trust the oil change had been correctly performed so removed the oil drain plug, which was torqued properly, and drained the engine oil. The capacity of the 3.6 litre engine is five quarts and I drained nearly six quarts from the vehicle. I then removed the oil filter cover, which was way over torqued (specification 18 ft-lbs). The oil filter cover threads were covered in a gummy substance that made it difficult to unscrew. This could be a factory sealant (first oil change) but should have been cleaned off in any case. I cleaned off the threads, installed a new filter and 5 fresh quarts of oil. It has taken about a week but the interior of the Jeep no longer reeks of motor oil. On my last (of three) visits to the dealer, I did ask the service advisor to have the service manager call me and left my cell number. However, I am still waiting three days later. I will say the service advisor for all three visits treated me well, I think he was as surprised as I was as the disasters unfolded. Please learn from my experience and take you service business elsewhere. More

When we went to pick it up they brought it up to us ready to go but there were no running boards on the Jeep. The only thing we were having done was not even done!! We asked the cashier and boy who brought the Jeep around but no one seemed to know what to do. I went inside, tracked down a service manager John, who honestly while nice seemed nonchalant about the whole thing. Nonchalant while at the same time telling us how this happens a lot because of their tagging system. He even asked me if they brought me our Jeep??!! I said “ well what if I brought it in for an oil change. How am I supposed to.trust that you change the oil if y’all didn’t even know if you put running boards on the right Jeep or not!? “ In the end they quickly located a set of running boards and installed them. Based on John’s comments and the chaos we witnessed we will not be returning for future service. They are clearly in need of a management house cleaning and bring in someone who can take charge of this chaos. More

Noticed some areas where it looked like something got on the paint at some point. It's some weird orange thing. It seems to be in the clear or under the clear. Point is, it doesn't clean off. It's down the left front above the wheel area. Anyway, if you go straight up from this area, there on the top left of the hood is another spot where it looks like it was sanded down to get more of whatever this is off the car. Problem is, they left it like this and where as the rest of the vehicle is shiny and white, this round area about the size of a dip can is dull as can be. I guess someone figured the customer wouldn't notice. And we didn't until I just happened to catch it in the light in the garage. Took it to the service department and 1) When I walked in, everyone was just sitting there. There were no other customers in there so I don't know what they were all doing, but nobody greeted me or so much as bothered to look up from what they were doing. Finally approached a guy who gave me a look like I was bothering him. I told him the deal with the paint and pointed it out and he claimed he didn't see anything wrong with it. I told him you can not only see it plain as day, but you can FEEL it. It's smooth all around and rough in the round area. Then he felt the area and said he couldn't feel it either. It was the craziest experience I've ever had at any service department. The other reviews speak for themselves. Just avoid this place. Horrible experience. You leave feeling angry and hopeless. Edit: Then they call you when they see your bad review and get aggressive. More worried about themselves than fixing the problem. More
