Dear Customer, I'm the Customer Experience Director here at Perkins Motors. This morning I've been made aware of your comments and the totality of the situation. First, I apologize that an MPI, multi-point inspection, was not accomplished in your case. This is something that is policy and should be a part of every service appointment just as you indicated we failed to confirm and document your fluids and battery level. As far as your heater issue, again I apologize that we were not able to meet your expectations. The repair order states a heater core replacement. Upon completion of that repair, a test was performed on the unit and at that time our tech discovered that the coolant lines had been cut prior to arrival and spewed out, but not disclosed to us. The condition of the dash in a significant state of disrepair was also noted and photographed prior to our efforts to complete the requested repair. I can only say that more through communication could have created a much better experience and our Service Department could improve on our initial communication after findings. The entire process would have also been smoother with more effective communication regarding the repairs needed, as well as the repairs abandoned prior to arrival to our shop. Situations like these are made much better with good communication and I"m very sorry from our side this we failed to do so on a couple of levels.
