Horrible service and extremely overpriced I took my Renegade in for some warranty work on a piece of trim, diagnostics on a 4 wheel drive service light, a grinding sound coming from a rear bra I took my Renegade in for some warranty work on a piece of trim, diagnostics on a 4 wheel drive service light, a grinding sound coming from a rear brake, an oil change and a tire rotation. I scheduled an appointment to bring the vehicle in and the Service technician called me back the next day to confirm what I needed to have done. At this point I was informed that each of the diagnostics (trim piece, brakes and service light would be individual service charges of $135 plus the oil change and tire rotation. So approximately $550 just for them to change my oil, rotate my tires and look at my vehicle. I opted to only have the trim done due to knowing it was for sure covered under warranty. The day before my appointment I dropped the vehicle off, and when trying to get a hold of anyone to tell me what was going on with my car was met with the reply of "I'll get your information to your service technician". By 6:15pm that night I heard back from her about my vehicle. Now remember this...the service center closes at 5:30, so even if I had wanted to get my vehicle I was unable to due to the shop being closed. I was informed that my tires were bald, the trim was covered under warranty and that the part had been ordered for installation next day and I was also told the oil change was done. I asked the service rep to have the tech switch the tires front to back since it is a front wheel drive car. More tread = better traction control. She informed me that the tech didn't recommend it but that she would have the work performed next day. By 5:00 the next day I still had not heard from the service center so I decided to show up and get my car as I could not be without it the next day. At that point I was told that they couldn't accept cash only card, and that the tire rotation hadn't been done but that I could leave it another day if I wanted to. I told them no and went home. By far this is the most deplorable service I have ever received and I will never visit a Jeep dealer for work unless it is warranty. Go to your local shop at least they will be honest and not try to scalp you like Perkins. More
Awful service We bought our truck BRAND NEW in December. However, the light would come on for a day or two, then turn off for a few days again. We were finally able to get into the dealership a few months later. They replaced the issued and we were told we would have no more issues. Less then a week later the light was back on. I scheduled and made an appointment. This is my only vehicle so I need a loaner, however the only time you can do a loan is the same day you drop off. They do not authorize a drop off the night before with getting a rental, which makes is extremely hard to get in during the week with the work. So we scheduled an appointment for the weekend. The light of course goes off again, and I call to confirm that they could still pull the code with the light off. I was informed no, and would be charged for the rental, so I cancelled the appointment until the light came on. Yesterday the light came back on, we scheduled an appointment online and advised that we would need a rental for Wednesday, as this is the only time we could do it. We then called to confirm the rental the day before and was told that they would not have a rental and we would need to reschedule. Which isn't an option as the light isn't guaranteed to stay on between now and the next time that we could do this. My husband is getting ready to deploy, and I work full time and its our only vehicle. The service department was unwilling to work with us to help to make this easier. I regret buying from this dealership and giving them my business. We have now scheduled with another dodge place, who advised us the code is the same code for the issue that Perkin's claims they replaced. I will never buy or bring another vehicle here. More
Miscommunication Cleared up My daughter has a 2015 Jeep Patriot. It has been running poorly, jerking as she drives. Also, she had her tires serviced at Big O Tires recently and they told her the rear struts were leaking. Since the car has a full, bumper to bumper warranty I told her to go ahead and take it to the nearest dealer. She did that today and Josh told her that she did not have a full warranty and that they would have to charge her an hourly diagnostic fee. She was unable to reach me so she trusted Josh and had them check for the above issues. When she was able to contact me, which was before they were done checking it, I confirmed that yes, we did have a full warranty. She was relieved to find out this would be covered. I called Josh and told him that if a service was not covered by the warranty and if the service would cost my daughter money then he was not authorized to perform the service. Later my daughter went to pick up the vehicle and was told there was a $150 diagnostic fee, contrary to my instructions. I called the on duty manager, Phillip, and got nowhere. A few days later we were contacted by Keri, who works in their customer service department. After explaining to her what had happened she checked into it and has arranged for the diagnostic fee to be refunded. She also asked that my daughter bring the vehicle back and ride with a technician in order to determine what is wrong with the vehicle. She advised that visit would not be charged, that they are committed to making sure customers are satisfied and that their vehicles are fixed properly. At this point, while we had a little bit of a bumpy road, everything seems to be straightened out, thanks to Keri. I am completely satisfied with Perkins Motors. More
Very Disappointed! I was at the dealership this morning because when they repaired the radiator some of the wires came loose for the left turning signal and a Halo set f I was at the dealership this morning because when they repaired the radiator some of the wires came loose for the left turning signal and a Halo set for the headlights. So, the left turn signal is not working now, and when the right turn signal is on the Halo light is blinking. Bottom line is my lights are not working as they should. The worst part of this experience is when individuals look at me as I was lying or not telling the truth. One thing that they need to understand (guys in the front and mechanics) is that on Tuesday when I took my vehicle there they did a courtesy inspection and checked all the lights in the vehicle and they were working. If they weren't, I am assuming the guy would have asked me if I wanted them fixed. I am very disappointed that after paying over 1000 plus dollars I must fix my light because the mechanic failed to put it back the way it was. This is the last time I have any mechanical work done there. More

The service write told me when I dropped my car off that once parts got in (which would only take one day he said) that the repairs would only take a half a day to do. Three days went by and I did not receive a call. I called the service write that gave me his card and said he would look out for me never answered and if he did he had no clue of what was going on with my car he would say 'I think it's done its not in my shop let me call you right back'. Of course he never did and this was on a Saturday so they are closed on Sundays so I would have to wait til Monday which I did and called again all day to find out that it was his day off and no one else could help me. So I went to the dealership myself now being 6 days after I dropped it that was only suppose to be a day and a half project I talked to the service manager and he told me that the parts arrived the previous week and they just haven't had time to get it in. Now after hearing this I was pretty up set because when I called the week before they informed me that it was almost done. I not once received a call about what was going on with my car and no one knew for sure what was going on with my car all I got was it should be done by today 8 days later still have not received a call about what was going on with my car or when it would be done save yourself the hassle these guys are teribale I should of went somewhere else. More

After 3 months of waiting for a part (that initially we were told would take two days) constant phone calls( frequently unreturned), and constant brush offs, today we were told a computer glitch gave our part to another vehicle and we now have to start over. BS! The only glitch is xxxx poor employees and half assed service. More

Found nothing and then they handed me a bill Strike Four - drop car on Tuesday evening to have warrant work done on drive train. Receive call on Thursday with repair cost. It's under warranty. Told them before and at drop off is was covered under warrant. Redo paper work and car should be done Friday No call on Friday. Call them at 4:30. Car not done. Visit shop a 5. Just started working on vehicle 25 working hours after drop off Zero stars More

HORRIBLE, DONT CARE AT ALL, 3X TIMES BAD EXPERIENCE HORRIBLE SERVICE & CUSTOMER SERVICE ON 3 DIFFERENT TIMES ....!!!!! I have gone to this PERKINS MOTORS dealer on 3 different occasions for 2 differ HORRIBLE SERVICE & CUSTOMER SERVICE ON 3 DIFFERENT TIMES ....!!!!! I have gone to this PERKINS MOTORS dealer on 3 different occasions for 2 different vehicles. On all 3x they have been horrible and careless the tech and the service advisor. No matter which service advisor i've had they always find away to try and out smart the customer, for some reason they think and treat me like i don't know what i'm talking about, not knowing that i'm a certified technician. This last time (today) i walk in for a tire rotation that apparently they could not do last Sat when i went in for service. I have a brand new 17 Dodge Ram Dually. the proper tire rotation for this vehicle includes breaking down the tires from the rims themselves and switching them out. By the way Dodge called me a few weeks before letting me know that because i bought this truck there was a plan that i didn't have to pay for because it came included with the purchase of the truck. Now both times that i walked in last week and today (by the way i'm here waking up super early to be there before they opened since it was advised by the last representative that checked me in last week. Point blank they tried to charge me after one person said that they had no problem doing the job and they seen the RAM PLAN, now he wants to try and tell me that i have to pay because he's not sure of they accept it or not. On top of that i told this character multiple times before i left the truck that i use the truck for hauling and that i need the tire pressures set for hauling and the rear inside tires needed to be 4 PSI lower than the outside ones. when i go to pick up my truck after having my truck for 5-6 hours, my two front tires are 83 PSI and 85 PSI..... my four rear tires are set on the following PSI... 62-65...61-64. All 6 tires on different PSI, when i drove back in after i check my tires, i told him that my tires were set to the wrong pressures, he didn't even look at what i was talking about. He said that he's going to go talk to the tech, and when he comes back without even looking at what tires are set, he tells me that the tech told him that he set the tires correctly on the specified pressures that the dealer calls for. NOW TELL ME IF THIS IS NOT A WASTE OF TIME, 6HRS AND BAD SERVICE WITH A SERVICE ADVISOR/ LAWYER. The service advisors name is TYLER LEIJA. And this dealer wont take care of your vehicle or you. By the way how is it that they have a courtesy shuttle that comes in @ 8am when they open for service at 7AM, soooo are you supposed to wait an hour to get ride back home and that if they stop at your place first. Def don't recommend this place to anyone that cares about their vehicle. More
