Scammed Brought jeep in to have clutch replaced at 30,000 mi. (Junk) and when I was called to pick up it was the same as when I left it. They charged 3500 for Brought jeep in to have clutch replaced at 30,000 mi. (Junk) and when I was called to pick up it was the same as when I left it. They charged 3500 for this as clutch is not under powertrain warranty!! They tell me the new parts are faulty and they will replace them u der warranty. I looked under the car and all the original oil and grime is still on the parts. They never fixed it and thats the scam. Get the customer to pay for something they didnt do and then fix it and charge Chrysler for bad repair parts. I called corporate and they definitely took an interest as I’m sure this is common with these xxxxxxxx. Avoid them at all costs More

She dropped it off in the a.m. On her lunch break she happened to be driving by Taco Express and and saw her jeep there. She immediately drove to the dealership and asked for the keys, the said it's still on the lift, she said how could that be, it's at Taco Express, they of course stalled and her coworker texted her as it pulled into the dealership (she was waiting outside). My daughter called me (I'm cosighed) and I went down to speak to the manager, talked to Randy Collins (service manger) he apologized and said they were going thru growing pains and unfortunately this was not uncommon for technicians to "borrow" customers vehicles for personnel business and that ALL the technicians know this is happening. I unapologetically (with a few F bombs) informed Randy that it was theft and wondered if the police and David Perkins would be interested in the shenanigans at perkins motors. Still waiting for them to make it right but twatwaffles usually dont man up, this gets sweep under the carpet because the majority of managers today are pansies and afraid of confrontation. They hid in there office and hope some else will handle the problem. More

Seem to want to do the right thing. My daughter had the oil changed on her Jeep Grand Cherokee, then moved to Ohio. In Ohio noticed oil leak she never had before. Dealer there discover My daughter had the oil changed on her Jeep Grand Cherokee, then moved to Ohio. In Ohio noticed oil leak she never had before. Dealer there discovered the PLASTIC oil adapter on top of engine had crack. Adapter was replaced, she was charged FULL retail price for part. Internet research showed that cracks are common for this part, even when all service is done at dealerships. Part is on top of engine, gets very hot, filter housing screws down on it, so is untorqued/torqued each oil change. Chrysler/Jeep and Byers Chrysler/Jeep in Columbus, OH refused to decrease or refund part cost but Perkins was willing to refund the full amount (I'm not sure if they did). This is an engineering/design problem that Chrysler/Jeep should resolve. It should be made of metal. At least Perkins was willing to make it right. More

I ask why and he said there were two in front of me and he was going to the north end of town. First we all signed at 0700, second common sense tells you that if you make one big loop I could have been dropped off first he could have then got back on the highway and did the other two. But know this gentleman is a complete xxxxxx to people. So I ended up walking back to my house to pick up my other vehicle which made me late for work and a sweaty mess. This is the second time he has done this to the first time he just scratch my name and said I wasn't there waiting. Plus Perkins doesn't even do a complimentary wash of your vehicle like all the other service departments. Customer service has sure went down hill since young David has taken over. Julian was fine and very pleasant. More

Excellent Customer Service Despite Long Repairs I own a Jeep Grand Cherokee and I had it towed to Perkins back in January this year due to a break down. Perkins had my Jeep for over 30+ days and I h I own a Jeep Grand Cherokee and I had it towed to Perkins back in January this year due to a break down. Perkins had my Jeep for over 30+ days and I had a very extensive engine repair and my service advisor was Don McMillen. Despite the long repair time and the circumstances, they truly went above and beyond to get me into a vehicle in the meantime. They worked with my warranty company to cover an Enterprise rental so that I did not have to pay out of pocket, and then when my rental ran out of days they waived the fact that I wasn't 25 yet and put me into one of their brand new courtesy vehicles! Then when my Jeep had a heating issue shortly after picking it up from the shop, they really came through AGAIN and not only provided another internal courtesy rental for the 3 days I was without my Jeep, but also covered the cost of the entire repair (turns out it needed a new control module)! This is crazy amazing customers service and left me feeling like they not only cared about me as a customer but were willing to go above and beyond to get me back into a working vehicle with heat! Huge shout out to Keri Murphy who is the sweetest and most kind service manager I have ever dealt with! I would also like to mention the excellent customer service from Brayson McCloy, Bill Wheeler, and Duke Croney throughout the process of these 2 repairs. I would recommend Perkins to anybody based on how they were able to make sure I as a customer was taken care of despite the long repairs. Thank you Perkins Motors!!!! More
Service on 2002 Durango Hi, I would normally not do a review, but I felt compelled to write this one. I have been bring my Durango for service ever since I bought it here in Hi, I would normally not do a review, but I felt compelled to write this one. I have been bring my Durango for service ever since I bought it here in 2002. I have never had any real issues until this last time. I came in for an oil change and rotate the tires.. I specifically told the front desk guy that I did not want them to mess up my lug nuts and to not over torque. Well what a surprise it was when the front desk guy took myself and my husband back in the bay to look at my vehicle. Well low and behold the stripped out one lug bolt. And of course they are not going to admit it was over torqued so they were trying to tell us that it was from brake dust. Well I pretty much said you are full of you know what. Then they said my bearings on the back tires were bad, and the senior tech said that should have been caught 10,000 miles ago. And not to mention bearings don't just go out, they should have been checking to make sure they had grease etc. Then they took me to the front and said my sway bars needed replaced. I believe if anything on the front needed to be replaced it was probably the ball joints. Anyway when I said that I should not have to pay to have the lug bolt replaced, that fell on deaf ears. Then when I asked for an estimate on the rest, he (the front desk guy), scribbled it on a post a note, and said that I would have to replace all the lug bolts. I believe if I remember correctly it was a tune of 2000.00. I am very aware that this vehicle needs certain maintenance because of the age, but I really was disappointed with the whole situation. I regret to say that I will not be coming back again, and will have my vehicle fixed somewhere else. I do not feel confident that the service techs that you have employed will be able to do the job. Not to mention I should not have had to pay for the bolt he stripped. Once again I have never written a review, but I felt this is something you need to hear. One other thing, is I was never told the price of the oil change and was very surprised when he said it was 70.00. I know I have never paid that much for an oil change before. More
