We purchased a new Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport, purchased running boards the same day. The running boards had to be ordered. No problem. We took the Jeep in and even left it two full days. When we purchased running boards the same day. The running boards had to be ordered. No problem. We took the Jeep in and even left it two full days. When we went to pick it up they brought it up to us ready to go but there were no running boards on the Jeep. The only thing we were having done was not even done!! We asked the cashier and boy who brought the Jeep around but no one seemed to know what to do. I went inside, tracked down a service manager John, who honestly while nice seemed nonchalant about the whole thing. Nonchalant while at the same time telling us how this happens a lot because of their tagging system. He even asked me if they brought me our Jeep??!! I said “ well what if I brought it in for an oil change. How am I supposed to.trust that you change the oil if y’all didn’t even know if you put running boards on the right Jeep or not!? “ In the end they quickly located a set of running boards and installed them. Based on John’s comments and the chaos we witnessed we will not be returning for future service. They are clearly in need of a management house cleaning and bring in someone who can take charge of this chaos. More

Noticed some areas where it looked like something got on the paint at some point. It's some weird orange thing. It seems to be in the clear or under the clear. Point is, it doesn't clean off. It's down the left front above the wheel area. Anyway, if you go straight up from this area, there on the top left of the hood is another spot where it looks like it was sanded down to get more of whatever this is off the car. Problem is, they left it like this and where as the rest of the vehicle is shiny and white, this round area about the size of a dip can is dull as can be. I guess someone figured the customer wouldn't notice. And we didn't until I just happened to catch it in the light in the garage. Took it to the service department and 1) When I walked in, everyone was just sitting there. There were no other customers in there so I don't know what they were all doing, but nobody greeted me or so much as bothered to look up from what they were doing. Finally approached a guy who gave me a look like I was bothering him. I told him the deal with the paint and pointed it out and he claimed he didn't see anything wrong with it. I told him you can not only see it plain as day, but you can FEEL it. It's smooth all around and rough in the round area. Then he felt the area and said he couldn't feel it either. It was the craziest experience I've ever had at any service department. The other reviews speak for themselves. Just avoid this place. Horrible experience. You leave feeling angry and hopeless. Edit: Then they call you when they see your bad review and get aggressive. More worried about themselves than fixing the problem. More

Dishonest, slow, and shoddy work. First, very poor communication from service department. I called the service department a total of 23 times between 15JAN and 22JAN to get a an update on the status of my vehicle, and not one time did I received a call back (despite being told numerous times that Jon Furlong would call me back). Second, the service department said they had to acquired a part from NAPA to fix my vehicle, but the part from NAPA turned out to be defective. So, the service department had me (...me) return the part to NAPA for a refund (very strange). The original part which I was told was defective, was then cleaned and found to be working (which begs the question of why they didn't try that first, instead of ordering a new part from NAPA). Jon Furlong said I would receive a full refund for the defective part from NAPA. However, NAPA refunded only ~$300 for the part, for which the Perkins Service department charged me $450. When I asked NAPA about the discrepancy, they say they only charged Perkins ~$300. So, Perkins charged me ~$150 extra for a defective part??? It gives at the very least the appearance of being shady and less than honest. Third, the service was extremely slow - over three weeks to replace a PCM??? Forth, the vehicle was returned to me (yes, it was fixed and running, that is my single good point) but with trash from the dealership in it (notes, wrappers, cup). Overall, what would a reasonable person think of this vehicle service? Would they think they received great service from this dealership? Really? Very disappointed. More

Do yourself a favor and do not bring your vehicle here for service. My 2014 dodge ram 2500 Megacab Laramie Limited has been there for 146 days. At first they didn't want to make the repairs because they s for service. My 2014 dodge ram 2500 Megacab Laramie Limited has been there for 146 days. At first they didn't want to make the repairs because they said my modifications caused the damage even though it happened to most all trucks of that year but they then tell me they are going to DO ME A FAVOR and fix it anyways... even though my truck has 40,000 miles on it and still under warranty. Thank you so much for honoring your warranty. My truck is in prestige condition with the best of the best of everything on it, more of a show truck than a daily work truck however it is just a work truck. 146 days later they still can't tell me when my truck will be serviced. 15 days ago and again 5 weeks ago the service manager John made promises they'd at least have a date but they don't and rather tell you, "hey we don't have a date." They ignore your calls and pass you around on phone tag to waste more of your time. Since they won't own up to their faults they force you to drive up there to get answers costing you more money and wasting more time because that is how they run their business and are strong believers in the ignore you till they have new info or until they can think of a new promise to make you. Not how I run my business but who am I to judge. I barely clear 300k a year. I am sure that's a slow month for them. Maybe treating your customers with disrespect is the way to do it, after all the population is growing and who cares if they return, they made a purchase, someone else will come get suckered in. As someone who has now purchased 6 fully loaded megacab Cummins I can honestly say after spending over 3k in rental cars before finally just bought a Raptor, I will definitely be parting out my truck then put a used motor and tranny in it before I trade it in on a new Tundra Cummins since Toyota would never treat customers this way and it's the Cummins I was after anyways, not a dodge. Since my wife never gets treated like this when in service. As a matter of fact we took my wife's car to the Toyota dealer in Denver 60 miles away for routine maintenance on a Friday because it was 160 dollars cheaper. They gave us a loaner car (Lexus) off the dealership sales floor so we could go do whatever while we wait. Well they didn't finish up by Friday like they were supposed to so instead of pulling a Perkins and ignoring us they put us up in a 4 star hotel for the weekend so we don't have to drive 60 miles back home and give us our car finished ASAP the following Monday. So think before you buy a car. Sure buying American sounds like the right thing to do but do you really want that American customer service? I feel sorry for the people who had to finance their vehicles and didn't have 30k to fork out for a new truck so they didn't have to keep spending $400 a week to rent a car because... why would you get a monthly rental? Why would you believe your 85k truck with low miles would be in service for over a week? I have never seen this kind of circus at any dealership in my life. I really don't understand how they can turn profit... I guess off recall work the dealership pays the tab. How ever the reviews else where such as Google (the most common and widely used) are extremely accurate with low ratings. I seriously wish I had more free time to hire an attorney, call the news, report to the BBB, drive across town every day during work hours to complain and stay on them but unfortunately I have to work for a living so I can afford to drive nice vehicles and to be able to buy spend 30k on a 2013 Raptor while Perkins uses my truck as advertisement to bring in sales. Oh yes, I have heard about the many comments and compliments my truck gets. How many sales has my truck made? They see it, come and ask about buying it and you sell them something else? If you want to offer me a commission check to cover my out of pocket expenses and to cover depreciation on the Raptor I had to buy that I have put 20,000 miles in since my truck has been sitting or to make up for the 5 months of car insurance I have paid to have my truck sit in your parking lot, I will gladly take it. The lie on vehicle repair orders it's no wonder the low public rateing. theyve had my vehicle for 3 days now. won't respond back any more. my HVAC system on my 19 ram which I purc it's no wonder the low public rateing. theyve had my vehicle for 3 days now. won't respond back any more. my HVAC system on my 19 ram which I purchased here is full with mold. they want me to pay them 1800 to replace the system because someone had installed a non factory part on the HVAC system prior to me buying the vehicle. this is after it took 5 months of fighting to have deep scratches repaired as part of a signed we-owe which was supposed to be completed within 30 days. the sales person was rude, pushy, and didn't file the correct paperwork at the time of sale. told them yesterday to put it back together and I'll fix their screw up myself, today they won't even respond.....and yes, I have everything recorded and saved. I'd say to be careful when dealing with them, but I can only recommend they be avoided. update: so, after 4 days I finally got my vehicle back. Nothing was repaired, and they even went so far as to say on the repair order that I was the one who installed the aftermarket piece. great job lying to cover your butt perkins! you had a service manager who could actually fixed so many of your problems but you let Duke go, and it's pretty obvious how this new service manager is doing.
