Great First Car Buying Experience! I had been researching buying either a new or used Jeep for a few weeks. I had never purchased a car and was planning on going to CarMax first in orde I had been researching buying either a new or used Jeep for a few weeks. I had never purchased a car and was planning on going to CarMax first in order to look at many types of vehicles without the pressure of a salesman. It turned out that Perkin's was right next to the restaurant my fiance and I were at and he suggested we at least drive through the lot and take a peek. We ended up parking and walking to the building to ask if we could walk around the lot and were greeted by Aaron. He was very professional and not pushy whatsoever. He said explained the lot set up and gave us his business card and said to text or call him if we ended up wanting to test drive anything. We quickly browsed the new selection and then wandered over to the used section where I found the 2016 Jeep Cherokee Limited that I ended up bringing home. We texted Aaron and he met us in order for us to test drive it. He was extremely patient and prepared in guiding me on the drive (I was not familiar with the town I was in). When we arrived back at Perkin's he offered to run numbers for us and I ended up walking out with my Jeep! I drove the 200 miles back to my home today and was beyond pleased with the handling of the vehicle. Great gas mileage, smooth and quiet ride, and "fancy" features that make me feel like I got a luxury vehicle for a steal of a price! I would recommend my friends and family to Perkin's because of the low pressure atmosphere. If Aaron would have walked around the lot trying to sell me on their wonderful vehicles, I probably wouldn't have been so willing to dive right in and purchase the only vehicle I test drove. Overall, it was an excellent first car buying experience! More
