Great experience from a state away! We found exactly what we were looking for on the website, right color and all the features we required. We found this car only after expanding our internet search to surrounding states. Being we were 6 1/2 hours away we requested additional photos beyond what was posted and asked for some specifics, each seat, the rims, scratches or dings on the exterior etc. Julie in the internet department did this and more within just a few minutes! She sent enough pictures for us to tell the car was in excellent shape and even followed up with a video of the entire car inside and out highlighting the 2 minor rock pits on the bumper. We decided to make the drive and were met with friendliness by all. We were able to meet Julie and thank here for all the photos and the video. Took it for a quick test drive with Tawaiian, our salesperson who was just as friendly. We were doing a cash deal and Tawaiian did once offer to finance at their rates, expected I know that is where they make their money, but never again not even when meeting with Randy in finance to sign paperwork. Appreciated not being hounded to take their financing option. We were in, looked the car over, went for a test drive, signed paperwork and were out the door in just under 2 hours. Will for sure return when we need another vehicle. *Two slight blemishes on the experience * 1) I have read in other reviews about the gas being only half full or less when making a purchase. Unfortunately this was the case with our purchase also. Have never purchased a vehicle without a full tank of gas (even on a private sale!) until now. 2) The detail department could do a little better job. Especially when we made a down payment to hold the vehicle for about 10 days until a weekend we could make the trip giving plenty of time to get the car ready. Upon arriving it still had the sticky residue of window stickers and window paint smudges on the windshield. A light layer of dust was on all the "not too visible" areas; gear shifter when in drive, back cup holders, door compartments, top of steering wheel etc. Also spots on the back seats and headliner we were able to easily get out. Overall great experience, great deal on a great car! More

I used the USAA app to find the vehicle and was quickly notified by email and text that they were interested in helping me get the best deal on the vehicle. Brittney worked with me on getting times/dates that worked with my schedule and was very flexible. I was immediately approached by Mr. Hudson who walked me through the process of finding the vehicle I had inquired about. He showed me the vehicle right away and even went as far as to show me another model that was newer and more updated--the price was in my ballpark range as well. I test drove the car that day and fell in love instantly. Gary had me drive in various terrains so that I could see how the car reacted to bumps, hills and pot holes. It was perfect. Once I decided the color (Gary showed me various colors), he streamlined the process and was extremely patient and attentive as I worked with my insurance company to get my insurance lined up when I came back a few days later. Mr. Hudson also willingly came in on his day off and I am extremely grateful for that! Mr. Bill was also very patient with me/my insurance company as the process took several hours. He streamlined the process by having me start some of the paperwork while the details were being hashed out. All three of these individuals were the epitome of professionalism and customer care. The process was extremely easy (I am a college student who purchased their first vehicle) and the answered my questions openly and honestly while even giving me advice moving forward. I would recommend Perkins Motor to my friends/family/anyone who asks me about my car buying experience there. More

Then took longer and cost (a lot) more than anticipated. Great folks but this visit was a "miss". Really expensive. EG: $99 for EIGHT door clips installed. Pretty disappointed. Julian (service rep) was fine, wasn't his fault. More

Horrible Service I came in for my 2014 Jeep Cherokee recall. The first thing the serviceman did was sell us an alignment. We were told that the repair for the recall I came in for my 2014 Jeep Cherokee recall. The first thing the serviceman did was sell us an alignment. We were told that the repair for the recall would take all day. No problem. We came back the next morning and it had just gone on the racks. I was told it should be about 20 minutes. The serviceman then comes back and says they do not have the correct part for the recall. It is my understanding that a diagnostic has to be done first in order to determine if you even need the part. He said that he would call me by Friday (took it in on Wednesday) with a day to drop it off and they would have a loaner waiting for me. I waited a week after not hearing from them and called. He acted like he did not know who I was and told me that he would have to call someone to find out what is going on. I don't have time for this crap. I called Faircy and will be taking my car to them where the diagnostic will be done. Also, every Jeep is different I found out and you have to order the part specific for that VIN number so a diagnostic HAS to be done. Just thought you might want to know this Perkins before you mislead another customer and xxxx them off. UPDATE: Thanks for the call back - NOT! Called on the 21st and was told the service manager would call me back per his request to me via comment on the reviews.. Don't bother because the service dept. has no clue as to what they are doing. I took my car to Fairicy and it was completed in 3 hours. For your edification since the service dept is obviously clueless, Chrysler JUST approved the recall. Now you have to have a diagnostic completed to determine if your car actually needs the part. The actual part will not be available for approximately 3 months in which time another letter will go out letting Jeep owners know they can now bring it in for replacement. You kept my car overnight even though I had an appointment. YOU ARE A JOKE AND NEED TO GET YOUR S*** TOGETHER AND KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT BEFORE YOU PUT YOUR CUSTOMERS OUT. Michael was more interested in up-selling than knowing his job. Will never recommend nor go to your service dept for anything. And to tell me I would get a call back and not receive one tells me you could care less that I am going to put this all over the web. More

Jorge was off on that day so Michelle helped us. I gave her the info that I got from Jorge and we went from there. Michelle found us the perfect vehicle, a Town and Country van. I could not be more pleased with my new car and with Jorge and Michelle's wonderful and thoughtful assistance. I highly recommend this dealership. More
