This was the most hassle free purchase of a vehicle that I have ever made! I purchased a 2008 750i with 31000 miles. HI went to perillo bmw because they had a certified 2008 x5 with 19k that I was interested in. I ended up buying this truck instead of a new jeep because I was told how awesome a certified bmw was. Little d x5 with 19k that I was interested in. I ended up buying this truck instead of a new jeep because I was told how awesome a certified bmw was. Little did I know this was not the case...As much as I love my vehicle it managed to be in the shop 4 times within the 2.5 months I owned it. The major reasons the x5 was in the shop was for brakes, lights, noises in the trunk, and a random loss of engine power which almost created an accident. By the fourth time I tried to get a hold of a manger. I had to stalk this person in order to speak with him. I was on vacation emailing and calling which ended up taking 4 business days to hear back. My car has now been in the shop for 10 days, they cannot find the problem. The service manager was very informative about the other problems and yet can't explain the loss of power. The manager seems to be giving me the run around and has yet to ease my mind about this issue. Customer service is terrible!!! Also if you do have a problem and want a loaner car prepare yourself for a 2 week wait. I would suggest the orland dealership for maine issues. Good Luck! More

I got my 650ci preowned at the Perillo preowned store off Diversey in Lincoln Park. I've only been to the BMW store for my scheduled maintenence. (-) The most recent event, Perillo guys called my insurance company, claim they need supplimentary repair to my car, then never reach me. My insurance sent the check to them, luckly they also sent a letter to me. Otherwise I never know those guys already got money. then I tried to call them, but can NEVER reach the guy! Now, it is almost a month after they got money! (-) In the past years, since this is the only BMW downtown dealer, I have to use it. a. No car wash sometime. b. Steal the money I put in the car (nearly always) c. Can not lend car, even when my car is a long service like 2 weeks. d. A couple of times, forget to put some PARTS BACK in the service! e. Once, I got the car with WARNING blinking in the car, said air bag isn't working after a "Car Window Service". The guy just drove the car to me, ignoring those big warning, and tell me "you are all set !" f. Another time, I got the car with 3 of 4 windows can not close!! I bought my car in a suburb BMW dealer, they really treat customer like god, and I really enjoyed the excellent service, but last 3 years in Perillo really like a bad dream! More
