I went into the dealership thinking I was going to purchase a used car - Steve called me earlier in the day (from the internet) and scheduled an appointment with me that Tuesday evening. When I arriv purchase a used car - Steve called me earlier in the day (from the internet) and scheduled an appointment with me that Tuesday evening. When I arrived at the dealer, Steve was prepared with keys for the vans and took me right out to see the vans. He showed me the features of the different years and when I expressed that I preferred the 2011/2012 style he offered to let me drive it. We took it for a drive and Steve was very knowledgeable about my questions in regards to safety - he clearly explained all the standard safety features that Toyota puts in the van to make it a great family car. After hearing about the car, I was sold and wanted to talk pricing. Steve offered me the price for the used car and the new car - he wrote out both offers, giving me a bottom line price. I let him know I would think about it and left the dealership. I went to two other Toyota dealerships after this visit and spent hours - waiting on the salesman as they would not allow me to schedule an appointment on the phone (although there were several salesman doing crossword puzzles at the front desk - they did not help me), waiting on them to bring up the right van, waiting on pricing -in fact when I finally left the dealership HOURS later - I had no price and was not offered the opportunity to drive the van. I was told they would not be able to give me a price until I filled out a credit application. I asked for something in writing about the van and I was told they had nothing to give me. The following day, I called back and forth with the dealers and still after at least 10 back and forth calls - no PRICE! I made the decision to by the van at Performance and let the other dealer that had been calling know - he was so ridiculous that he said "too bad we were going to give you the dvd player for free' and I told him, it was too bad he would not give me a price, my deal with the Performance was finalized - I find it hard to believe that they would not give me a price, but then said they would give me a free dvd player as a last ditch effort - very unprofessional and classless. Steve not only sold me on the car - he sold me on the dealership. This dealership is the furthest away from my home and the most inconvenient dealer to go to - but I will continue to go to this dealership for all my car service as their customer service is superb!!! Their approach to selling a car made me realize that they valued my business and my time. Steve did not string me along and drag out the process. He was upfront, honest and trustworthy. When I came in the following weekend to buy the van, he had most of the paper work done and make the process very quick and easy. He gave me a tour of the dealership and spent about 45 minutes in my van with me and my 6 year old daughter showing us the car. I left the dealership feeling excited and confident that I truly made the best decision by buying a Siena van for my family. I have RAVED about my experience to everyone and anyone who will listen as I believe this dealership should be known to all - I will continue to let my friends and family know about my positive experience at Performance Toyota. Our experience with Performance Toyota was very positive. It began as an email inquiry, which developed into a line of communication with our salesman Mr. Steve Doan. After several inquiries to Steve via emails and telephone calls we ultimately set up an appointment with Steve to discuss and work on a transaction for purchasing the vehicle that we were interested in, a RAV4. When we arrived Steve was readily available to meet with us. We were escorted to his personal office where we began the process of pricing, options, financing, etc. as well as being given the opportunity to test drive this particular vehicle. Steve was very thorough in explaining everything to us working all ways for us on a cost. It was a lenghty process to no real fault of anyone. What it all boiled down to on our part was whether or not to lease an '11 or '12 RAV4 via price with allotted amount of miles on a 36 month lease 12k or 15k, and an acceptable trade in amount to the buyer. Everything was all worked out and the end result was EXCELLENT! We made our choice of vehicle i.e. year, price, mileage, RAV4 model and model year, color etc. We then met with the finance manager to get all the paperwork processed. That was also a positive experience especially when the keys were handed to us! After that we met back up with Steve who took the time to explain to us all about our new RAV4 demonstrating to us all about the options. Once again he was very thorough. Also before we left a general manager also checked with us to evaluate our experience and we let him know how pleased we were. We have had a few post emails from Steve following up with us and also received a "Thank You" card personally from him. That is a very nice personal touch. I would recommend anyone who is in the market for a new Toyota to visit Performance Toyota and request Steve Doan as their salesperson. He is friendly, knowledgeable, thorough, and personable with a sense of humor too! I can honestly say at no time did we feel pressured into making a purchase and that to me speaks volumes. This is the second vehicle we have purchased through him (and Performance Toyota)--there's definitely a reason why we were repeat customers! Courtnell deals in a fair and friendly manner with each of his customers--and he always goes the extra mile! I am always astounded by both Courtnell's and Performance Toyota's level of excellence--especially when it comes to service (this also extends to the Service/Maintenance Dept). I would not hesitate to recommend Courtnell Francois and Performance Toyota to anyone! We'll definitely be back!
