He checked to make sure the truck was in stock and did indeed have the 3rd row seat we were seeking. Called him about 2 hours before close and told him I was on my way with my trade vehicle. He had everything lined up when we got there and after a reasonable back and forth on the value of my trade a fair deal was reached and the paperwork process began. It was our bad for showing up an hour before closing on a cold January Saturday and expecting to take delivery the same day, but Edward and the great folks in F&I, and even the detailer who stayed late to dealer prep/wax the 4Runner for us, should really be commended for the outstanding effort. They all scrambled to make the deal happen and had us on our way home in about 2 hours time. We had a laugh on the way out about how we were all locking up the dealership for the weekend together. I'd recommend Edward Powell and Performance Toyota for a no xx sales experience, and you can play pricing games with other retailers who list at MSRP and then battle with every customer to hold the most gross profit, or deal with a retailer like Performance where their starting price is more in line with where they need to be, but well under sticker, so there's less "come on down to the dealership and we'll see what we can do for you" nonsense that most often ends in a waste of both parties' time. Thanks again and we'll be back. More

He walked us through several options including purchase of older vehicle and lease or finance of new vehicle. He shared the pros and cons of each option and helped us come to a practical and positive decision for our situation. Result: Very happy Mom and daughter. More

Good test drive, demonstrated safety and other features, got a good feel for the drivability of the car and how everything worked when I drove it. Answered all of my questions, got us prices for buying vs. leasing with various options as far as down money. So when we left there, we had all of the information we needed to make a decision, which we did not get at some other dealerships. I would recommend this dealership and salesman to anyone looking for a Toyota, they were very professional, made the car buying experience comfortable and enjoyable, offered good pricing, and followed up by phone to make sure if there were any questions (without being "pushy" at all. We have had good experience when having service done here for Toyotas owned in the past. More
bad customer service! I always thought that leasing my first brand NEW car would be a great experience. In the beginning it all seemed to go smoothly fine, but I'm guessing I always thought that leasing my first brand NEW car would be a great experience. In the beginning it all seemed to go smoothly fine, but I'm guessing it has to be that way when their trying to sell a car isn't it? Well it was after my supposed to be brand new reliable car started having manufacturer issues, (turning off on me everywhere) that my already stressful car situation became a worse experience due to their horrible customer service! I always had to call constantly because I would NEVER get a call back!! The operator (front desk) always cut me off and send me straight to the extension she thought I should be sent to, and that extension always rang into the voicemail. I HAD to go in person taking time from my already busy life with having an infant, and two jobs!! I had a serious problem, with leasing a brand new car that turned off on me everywhere I went ! That was the reason why I wanted a new car, to have something RELIABLE and they didn't seem to help but make it all more difficult to solve. Their employees never offered any type of help, or solutions to my problem at all! I had to take time out of my busy schedule to go in and talk to the manager because when I called, again the operator always sent me away to a diff. extension or he was busy, or not there. The manager did help by giving me the loner I asked for since no one seemed to want to help me or tell me the rights I had to ask for one. It took me almost 3 WEEKS to get my car back! When I called to ask for the status of my car (being that I didn't hear from them for weeks and they didn't answer my calls), I finally got an answer they told me the car had been done (2 WEEKS AGO), and they weren't sure why no one had called me back. I cannot believe the poor customer service I've experienced. In my past, and current job I've been working in customer service, and I know this isn't acceptable for a big company like Toyota. More

Dan Is NOT the Man Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon to look at a Tacoma. Dan "the man" greeted me and we discussed my truck needs and my trade. He offered to come to Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon to look at a Tacoma. Dan "the man" greeted me and we discussed my truck needs and my trade. He offered to come to my home to do the appraisal which I thought was great. Monday I emailed him with my VIN so he could research and also asked him when the 2017's would be available. He confirmed receipt of my email and I NEVER heard back from him. Waited a week and bought my Tacoma from another dealer. All their ads on TV talk about how great their dealership is. If they would have just done the minimum amount of work I probably would have purchased a Tacoma from Performance. More
