Being a business owner has taught me to be open, honest and helpful to customers. You are either solving a problem for them or you are fulfilling a need. Using ambiguous terms like, "it is our policy", or "corporate does not allow this", are cop outs that my employees are not allowed to use. There are reasons behind all policies and rules and it is incumbent on the employee to understand these well enough to be able to communicate them to the customer so they understand. It is too bad the "managers" at this company do not have sufficient training or abilities to accomplish this for their customers. That is ok because there ARE car dealers out there who are able to do this. If you are reading this and trying to figure out if you should work with this dealer, I strongly suggest you look elsewhere.
